To access HomeBuilder, owner-occupiers must meet the following eligibility criteria: you are a natural person (not a company or trust); ... you are aged 18 years or older; you are an Australian citizen; you meet one of the following two income caps: $125,000 per annum for an individual applicant based on your 2018-19 tax return or later; or $200,000 per annum for a couple based on both 2018-19 tax returns or later; you enter into a building contract between 4 June 2020 and 31 December 2020 to either: build a new home as a principal place of residence, where the property value does not exceed $750,000; or substantially renovate your existing home as a principal place of residence, where the renovation contract is between $150,000 and $750,000, and where the value of your existing property does not exceed $1.5 million; construction must commence within three months of the contract date. 19.01.2022 I just want to let you know about another potential situation involving a bulk carrier approaching Western Australia. The Department of Health has been alerted ...to a previously symptomatic crew member on board a bulk carrier, the ‘Key Integrity’, due to arrive in Geraldton Port tomorrow morning. I want to assure the Geraldton community that there is no risk to the public. The Geraldton community will not be put at risk in this process. The Key Integrity will remain berthed and no crew will disembark. As a standard public health measure, WA Health will test the crew member for COVID-19 early tomorrow morning. A WA Health nurse in full PPE will board the ship to swab the crew member. Test results will be fast tracked and are anticipated to be available within a few hours. There are 20 crew on board the vessel in total none of the other 19 crew are reporting any symptoms at this stage and the crew member is isolating in his cabin. The Key Integrity left Manila on 6 October 2020 where a crew exchange took place and 13 new crew came on board. They were tested for COVID-19 before joining the vessel. Our WA Health team is now highly experienced at managing vessel outbreaks, proven again by the recent success of the Patricia Oldendorff vessel outbreak in Port Hedland. An outbreak team is on standby and working closely with the WA Country Health Service. When we have a further update on the situation tomorrow, once the test result is returned, we will provide that to you. Thanks again for your understanding.

12.01.2022 When I was a teenager I was ‘lucky’ enough to see, hear and share stories first hand of a beautiful strong inspirational Aboriginal woman who was stolen from her family. I say the term ‘lucky’ as in no way is it great for me to benefit from such painful events. I say lucky in the sense that not everyone understands #sorryday or the need for it. I have been lucky to meet an incredible woman, her family, listened to their painful stories. Seen them cry, laugh and be incredible brave. Many Australians would not have seen, heard felt or experienced the glimpses of the reality for the stolen generation. I am glad I have a true sense of what this momentous day meant to some.
