22.01.2022 Timely reminder to clean gutters and roofs especially build up around panels !
21.01.2022 An article on this season’s bushfire period was recently published in the Herald Sun. The article is a great read and articulates how important being prepared for bushfire is. Please take time to read the article, it is only short.
19.01.2022 Another recent installation of some much needed shelving a small store room.
18.01.2022 Who says you cant shape gum trees!!
18.01.2022 Some recent handrail installations providing a safer environment for resident in Kyneton.
17.01.2022 Front garden makeover in Kyneton. Before, during and after. Thanks team, another happy client. Final pics not helped by the fog and pouring rain this morning.
17.01.2022 Before and after photos of a job in Castlemaine. Great job by the boys over a couple of days. 14.01.2022 Before and after. A productive week.
14.01.2022 Paths all top dressed now and everything complete except champagne deck which has a little way to go. Have moved over 35 ton of rock, gravel, cement, sand and soil by hand so a very labour intensive job.
14.01.2022 Merry Christmas and best wishes for a safe and successful 2018 to all wonderful customers, suppliers and friends. We hope you enjoy a quiet and relaxing festive season. Our team will be having a break until the 8th January.
13.01.2022 Another veranda done and dusted. Good job Lisa, your first veranda.
13.01.2022 Some good advice here. Whilst not everyone is able or willing to crawl into their roof space, help is available to check things like this at very low cost - especially when the potential consequences could be catastrophic!
13.01.2022 Stage 2, replacing steps with a ramp is complete and we have started moving rock (by hand due to limited access) ir stage 4. Stage 3, the new side fences is 50% done. A busy week, thanks team for a great effort.
13.01.2022 Another common problem with older properties occurs when bathroom cupboards have cracked and peeling vinyl doors and drawers. They can be made to look like new again without having to replace the entire unit.
12.01.2022 Recent Harcourt painting job - before photos
12.01.2022 Look who was supervising team this week !
11.01.2022 Champagne deck finally completed earlier this week complete with clients art installed. Photos dont really do it justice however the built in bench, ramp, succulent garden bed (to be planted out by client) and top deck can be clearly seen. This was to be the final stage however our lovely client had decided there are few 'extras' that are required to 'tizzy' things up a bit so the next stage starts next week. Well done Darren (Rustic Creations) and thanks for making our client very happy!
11.01.2022 Champagne deck progress. The built in lower bench can be seen completed. The ramp will wond its way up past what will be a round mosaic and sculpture level to the actual deck at the top. A lot of rock and a lot of fill still to go in. End result will be spectacular and provide client with a private raised area which opens up views currently hidden without intrusion into or from neighbouring properties. More photos as job progresses. Well done Darren Burren, Rustic Creations.
11.01.2022 Recent Harcourt job - after photos
10.01.2022 Progess photos for a landscaping job in Castlemaine we've been working on for a week or so with stone mason Darren Burren. Stage 1 pictured is nearly complete. Lucky to have a customer who allows and appreciates the creative interpretation of thoughts provided.

07.01.2022 New fence. Before and after.
06.01.2022 Thank you to a very special client who allowed us to repair and paint her home and landscape her garden at Hepburn Springs. She gave us her vision and color scheme and trusted us with the rest. What follows is many photos of before during and after with the house painting still a work in progress. LnR enlisted the help, expertise and vision of Darren Burren of Rustic Creations, Malmsbury and the result has been outstanding. Thank you and well done also to the LnR team, David, Adam and Lisa who all contributed and will continue to contribute to this project. More photos to follow.
06.01.2022 Fire restrictions are now in force throughout numerous shires including Mt Alexander. Please ensure all recent burns are fully extinguished with no chance of re...-ignition and take extra care when operating all mechanical equipment around your property. Remember to ensure that whatever you do, you have sufficient means on hand to extinguish any accidental ignitions. The requirement is for a 9lt water extinguisher to be on hand as a minimum. That does not mean tucked away in the shed but on hand where the work is occurring. Also, think about whether it is really necessary to do the work during windy conditions. Wind presents one of our biggest dangers. Please keep a mobile phone with you at all times so that in event of a fire starting you have the ability to call '000' immediately it becomes apparent that you don't have the means to extinguish it yourself. Seconds and minutes matter!! The festive and holiday season is fast approaching so please stay safe and adopt safe work practices to ensure we all can enjoy the warmer weather we've all been longing for.
06.01.2022 The garden is showing more color every day! Spring is nearly upon us.
05.01.2022 We haven't been on Facebook much but that doesn't mean we haven't been busy!! For privacy reasons most jobs we do can't be posted. Besides, as repairs and maintenance are a big part of what we do the photos would be quite boring. With the dry conditions over the last few months most of our trees and shrubs are struggling and many have and are shedding leaves in great numbers. Many end up in gutters and we are finding that there are a lot of roofs and gutters with a great amo...unt of debris. The frequent windy conditions also do not help. With moister conditions hopefully not too far away, now is the time to ensure your gutters and down pipes are clear. Whether you are collecting the rain water in tanks or not, blocked gutters have the potential to overflow into eaves and we have seen a lot of damage recently, in particular after quick heavy showers. Repair costs can be expensive so prevention is critical. It is also worth checking for leaf build up around solar panels and solar hot water heaters. Also, don't forget about creepers and vines which look great but have a habit of entangling themselves around gutters and sending shoots into eaves and roofs. Unfortunately every year we get a lot of calls whilst it is raining and when gutters are overflowing in places where they shouldn't and by then often the damage has been done. If you require assistance, give us a call whilst the weather is still fine. No one wants to climb on slippery, wet or frosty roofs. See more
05.01.2022 Stage one complete ready for planting by client. Once all planting done and stage 2 (side fences between house and boundary), stage 3 ramp to replace steps between back garden tiers and stage 4 ( the newly named champagne deck and ramps) are completed we will top dress gravel areas with 20mm Tuscan topping. Must say that the top soil we used for this garden is a very good and fertile mix. Sociana Mix from Kyneton Garden Supplies. Stone work by Darren Burren.
