25.01.2022 Our business strives to look for the positive in any situation. So when the South Australian economy took a hit due to the COVID-19 pandemic, whilst we were obviously concerned about the impact this would have on the industry, we sought to find the opportunities. We felt confident that the State Government would invest in local infrastructure projects to help stimulate the economy, create jobs and in turn provide work for our equipment and machinery. In anticipation of this,... we took a leap of faith, crossed our fingers and ordered new equipment, with state of the art technology to support these projects and continue to build SA Great. We are a proud South Australian family-owned company, founded from strong values that ultimately leads to our growth and success. In the true South Aussie spirit, we band together to keep our State going strong. We wanted to demonstrate this on our new 230ton mobile crane that we purchased to support these projects and branded the crane in SA livery; recognising the state flag and celebrating the local iconic businesses here in South Australia. These projects have given us the opportunity to purchase new equipment, stabilise our workforce, provide employment and move forward with drive and determination to continue to contribute to the development of our great State.

23.01.2022 Awesome article written by Renee Skye Ancell from Roar Marketing in SA Builder on our Fly the Flag day at the Built site, Mitsubishi project. So important to take a step out of the busy construction schedule, and spend some time with the team talking openly life challenges, and reminding ourselves to not only to have these important conversations, but also set some goals and work towards them. Built Bonetti Transport & Hire... Read more via the link here: https://lnkd.in/gyu4AgB #togetherwewin #flytheflag #nevergiveup #mentalhealth #visionboard

22.01.2022 The Team completed a well executed lift in the city, for a new client on the weekend. Our 230t crane came into its element here, when we used 75 metres of main boom to lift 2 ton at 60m. Not necessary to fit a fly jib with this system length; and the job was executed very efficiently and perfectly. Proud to see our equipment and the crew going about their work professionally on the job. What was also special to see, was team on holidays taking time out to watch and ensure ...the lift went well. Speaks volumes about our teams care for the company they work for. What topped it off, was seeing our client bounce beamingly into the office, extremely happy with the job and service. Well done team. #keepmovingforward #nevergiveup #goodservice #wellplanned #load28

19.01.2022 Do you need a lift - session 2 - Built Environs / Golden Grove Park N Ride. Our March session of do you need a lift was held at Park N Ride Golden Grove, hosted by Built Environs. Do you need a lift, is a mental health program I designed aiming to provide attendees with mental health strategies for dealing with stress and crisis. Mangers within the industry are faced with the added pressure of greater responsibility and managing people, often carrying the heavy weight of othe...rs, to the detriment of their own needs. So this program is aimed specifically to Managers and Supervisors working in the building and construction industry. Both Rob Yates (NLP Life Coach) and I kicked off the morning session with the team at Built Environs with a coffee and egg & bacon roll, and had some great conversations around various topics and strategies that enhance a healthy mindset. Thankyou Lex for hosting us!

19.01.2022 The team are into it again! A good snapshot of the maneuverability of our 95ton Crane, as it weaves its way into position into a tight street. Here we are completing maintenance work for a client of ours on some glass panels. Load 28 is well equipped with specifically designed man & materials cages to facilitate this work. ... When using state of the art equipment and an intelligent crew; you have a great solution for safely completing work at heights.

17.01.2022 Load 28 is often called to remove transportable homes from house to house. This type of work often presents challenges, as we move oversize objects from one backyard to another, navigating residential zones along the way! Watch Aaron, Ben, and Stathie as they use equipment like our TIDD28 Pick and Carry Crane, Truck, and Liebherr 130ton Mobile Crane to get the job done. 13.01.2022 Here it is, our launch day video! What a fantastic day to celebrate our 230ton Crane Launch last Thursday. We lit up the Torrens Parade Ground in a sea of blac...k, white and red, supported by close to 100 industry leaders and stakeholders, including the Hon. Corey Wingard, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport who congratulated Load 28 on our innovative thinking and forward planning with the significant acquisition of our new crane. This is a magnificent milestone that would not be possible without the hard work and effort of our "Load 28" family. It rounds off our fleet and ensures we can provide an end-to-end solution for our clients. Thank you to all that attended! 08.01.2022 One of the most bushfire prone areas of the Adelaide Hills and home to the CFS state training centre and local CFS station has had a critically overdue fire tow...er and siren installed free by some of CCF SA’s finest. The work, on the main road at Brukunga, 40 kilometres from Adelaide, commenced on 25th November after local member Dan Cregan - Member for Kavel approached Melissa Ekberg from CCF SA for assistance to help defray the sizeable costs of the work. The tower’s installation was completed by Davison Earthmovers providing project management, excavation for footing and labour; Load 28 Crane Hire & Aust Glass Install providing the crane to lift the new pole into place; further equipment from Coates Hire Boom Lift; and Southern Quarries Direct Mix providing the concrete for the footings all of the above work and materials donated free of charge. A massive achievement by all involved. #ccfsa #cfs #civilindustry #civilconstruction #crane #firesafety

06.01.2022 An unprecedented year... that’s the catch cry! And in terms of Load 28, this is exactly what it was. Sink or swim... that was the choice of path for this year; we chose to swim. Never give up, was a statement I made early this year when faced with some business difficulties and Covid. Those of you that know, understand that I titled this in every post I made. ... #nevergiveup This year in 2020, we chose to lift the bar,. and then we pushed it harder again. In this year we added another 3 items of plant to our fleet, including our awesome 230ton Mobile Crane. We did fear uncertainty, but we chose to dig the heals in and pushed forwards harder than we have ever pushed before. To my team, I am honoured to be a part of this company and work for you, as you work for me. To our crane subcontractors and suppliers to our business; who fearlessly work beside us, aligning themselves to our mission and mandate; thank you so very much for all your support.... we sincerely couldn’t do this without you guys. We have a bit to finish with yet in 2020, but we look forward to the new year of 2021! 2020, has certainly been one that will go down in the history books. Check this video out... Its bit longer than usual, but a good wrap up of our team at work through the year. Watch to the end of the video, because there is some funny bloopers that highlight the humour in our team. Haha ;-) To all that support our business, a sincere thankyou from the bottom of our hearts. Load 28 Family #togetherwewin #load28 #cranes #dedication #hardwork #familybusiness

06.01.2022 Drive with Passion Coming off the work topics for a moment, I always feel it’s important to have an outlet outside of work. A big part of my day; is the ‘day to... day’ management side of the business, which sometimes doesn’t feel overly tangible. Although occasionally I get on the tools I do miss building and being creative. Some people build houses.... I just build Hotrods! I love building hotrods; as it satisfies my desire to build, express my creativity and keeps my fabrication skills intact. I post a lot of Load 28 videos, here is a different one on my Hotrod which I built from scratch over a 2 year period. I completed its final assemble point recently, with this fitment of its engine, completing its final stage of its build. My hotrod is called Sheer Tenacity, and it is an opportunity to cast a visual aspect of my mind. In this case Sheer Tenacity was built to be; Fierce, relentless, determined and passionate.. I’m currently building Hotrod #2, so lets see what theme and spirit this Hotrod casts. Enjoy the video. Sheer Tenacity. #visionboards #nevergiveup #keepmovingforward #horsepower

05.01.2022 Working through a lock down is difficult for all of us. It requires us to stay positive, dig deep, support each other and work together; to fight the C word and come through the other side stronger than ever. As business owners, battling through this time is difficult. We can prepare for many difficult times and phases in business, but in these times we feel so powerless; how do you prepare for this? It takes focus and leadership to keep the ship straight and look after the ...team. For myself, I work hard to remain positive and get ready to come out the other side stronger. One of my techniques is to focus on all the good things our business has achieved over the past 10 years. I just re watched this video we prepared as the opening video for our recent launch day. It’s a longer one than usual... but considering we all have some time here at the moment in SA, I thought I would share it. Enjoy some footage of our business and team, and I wish everyone strength as we work through this one. For we will get through this, so let’s rise to the challenge and let’s come back stronger. Stay positive, focused and safe everyone. #keepmovingforward #togetherwewin #nevergiveup #greatteamwork

04.01.2022 The load 28 team was recently onsite at The BICE Building in the Adelaide CBD replacing some damaged glass with the innovative Ballast beam. Load 28 designed, engineered and fabricated this ballast beam... all in house, using the intelligence of our team! We designed this beam to couple to our 1 ton vacuum unit, and designed it to be fully remote control, with the ability to self ballast! So this means in the air, we have full remote control functionality! ... First of a kind here in SA! Our well-equipped team is able to get onsite, set up, and carry out the task at hand safely and efficiently. With the right tools and planning, there is no task we cannot undertake. #building #team #construction #architecture #design #planthework #worktheplan #teamwork #innovation #ballastbeam #load28 #togetherwewin #Bicebuilding
