25.01.2022 Just a quick company update during what is a very worrying and uncertain time for some people and companies. LRS are business as usual to ensure we keep the transport industry moving. LRS has implemented health and safety strategies in all stores to ensure the health and safety of our staff and clients are our top priority. We are doing regular cleaning of surfaces and counter throughout the day We are no longer asking for a signature when goods are collected, we are rec...ording names to help reduce contact We have hand sanitizer in store for use Staff hands & Eftpos machines are washed and sanitized on a regular basis We can offer contactless orders by asking you call ahead and prepay and we will leave your order in a designated area for collection or we can freight direct to you. LRS do not have any stock issues due to this worldwide pandemic so we are very happy that we can continue as per normal through what is a very busy period at the moment. The staff and management wish everyone all the best and we will get through this tough time if we all look out for each other.

25.01.2022 Today we are starting a job that will see us produce more than 800 straps, this job is taking 5000mtrs of 25mm webbing to complete. The webbing is manufactured by a company in Melbourne which gives us the flexibility to offer clients custom colours to meet their requirements. These straps will be used to hold water drums to trees in NSW fire affected areas to help wildlife start to recover and settle back into their habitat.

22.01.2022 Is your winch cable starting to look a bit run down? LRS stock winch cables on the shelf ranging from 11mm - 16mm at various lengths. Our winch cables are assembled in Melbourne using Korean manufactured wire rope. We can manufacture in any length required with or without a hook fitted. 22.01.2022 LRS stock several types of motorcycle restraints, clients have the option of the imported option or we can manufacture in house if you prefer to stick to Australian manufactured. The webbing we use is manufactured here in Melbourne as well as the tags we use. LRS opt to use a German made thread when we sew our products due to the high quality thread that comes from that country. 22.01.2022 Over the last 18 months we have seen an increase in our towing clients using the shortening clutch that we supply. This product has seen the standard grab hooks being replaced due to the extra security this product has to offer. The clutch allows you to shorten the chain without losing any of the SWL. The clutch comes with a safety pin to keep the chain in place where the pinlok is a trademark of PWB Anchor (Trading as KITO PWB)

20.01.2022 The staff and Management at LRS would like to say a big thank you to our clients during the Covid 19 pandemic. The cooperation we have had from our clients to ensure we could safely keep supplying the transport industry has been amazing. As public restrictions begin to ease we will still be very strict in the contact and hygiene within our stores to ensure the safety of staff and other customers. 19.01.2022 Once again we were approached to manufacture a strap with a design we had not manufactured in the past. The beauty of having our own inhouse test equipment we can safely tag the products with an accurate safe working load. We had hoped this strap would break at 3000kg, it passed with flying colours with the webbing letting go at 3200kg. When you buy LRS products you can assure you are getting what you paid for.

17.01.2022 A new day a new project, today we are doing a trial on a cargo net for the NSW correctional services. This product will be used when transporting the personal belongings of inmates between centres. This is the first step to iron out any issues before it goes to be load tested before we make the final product.
