05.01.2022 300 Series: Caring for Polished Leathers When upgrading to a premium shoe, extra care and maintenance is required to help your new Loake shoes retain their excellent appearance and comfort in wear for years to come. Following the steps below will help you keep your Polished Leather shoes in top condition: 1. Before using any polish, we recommend removing any excess dust from the shoe with a warm, damp cloth.... 2. We suggest using a suitably coloured wax polish. The Loake beeswax polish is ideal. 3. Let the polish dry for 10 minutes to allow the paraffin to evaporate naturally. 4. Once dry, even out the polish with a soft brush, before rubbing over with a lint-free cloth. We strongly recommend the use of shoe trees in all our footwear. They help maintain the shape and reduce creasing, which will extend their life and how good they look. See more
