25.01.2022 Give this local bloke a call. His work speaks for itself

25.01.2022 The 'Tommy Toe' tomato is an indeterminate heirloom tomato variety with good disease resistance. It produces great tasting, sweet and juicy, red fruit about the size of a small apricot. This variety takes 10-11 weeks from sowing to harvest. These are some picked today that have been grown through winter, as we have a warmer climate in winter up here in North Qld, coupled with better then average winter rain they flourished. The four that started out as seeds have grown up and over a 6 foot fence and a few feet down the other side.

19.01.2022 One of our favourite properties to care for. A lot of thought has gone into the gardens from the owner. A couple of weeks ago we did a big clean up of the gardens, cut back all the hedges and just a simple mow today.

07.01.2022 Dingo beach to Bloomsbury we are happy to help. Here's one from dingo beach today. Had a call from someone who couldn't do it themselves due to distance and Covid restrictions. It is a good time of year to get the grass low as snakes are starting to get on the move.

07.01.2022 With it being so dry lately, it was refreshing to mow a new clients property today that was lush and green. And had a beautiful, thriving array of different gardens.

07.01.2022 We had a first time client ring yesterday asking if we could get his lawn done today before a house inspection was to be done at lunchtime. Although our day was already filled we squeezed him in and got it done first thing this morning to make sure both his real estate and himself were happy. If you have a last minute job to be done, then don't hesitate to call us and we will do our best to fit you in

07.01.2022 The Japanese have been producing wood for 700 years without cutting down trees. In the 14th century, the extraordinary daisugi technique was born in Japan. Inde...ed, the daisugi provide that these trees will be planted for future generations and not be cut down but pruned as if they were giant bonsai trees; by applying this technique to cedars, the wood that can be obtained is uniform, straight and without knots, practically perfect for construction. A pruning as a rule of art that allows the tree to grow and germinate while using its wood, without ever cutting it down. Extraordinary technique. ''. Sir David Attenborough.

05.01.2022 Did you know there are more microorganisms in one teaspoon of soil than there are people on earth

05.01.2022 We grow em big down under! Golden Orb Spiders is one of Australia's largest Arachnids. Though they can get huge, Golden Orbs are not dangerous to people and i...f anything, are a pretty cool species to have in the garden (they love catching flies and mozzies). They are named Golden Orb or Golden Weaver because if the colour of their silk, easily seen golden and shiny in the sun. Fun fact - A male Orb is about the size of a 5c coin, whereas the females can grow bigger than this guys hand (20+ cm). They sure do like them big girls...but after all the fun, they better bail quick or end up on the menu So it's nothing to fear... it's just a Golden Orb here! unknown
