A truly sustainable food system must also take into account all the people who grow, harvest and process the food we buy and eat every day... Did you know The Modern Slavery Act 2018 was entered into force in Australia on Jan 1st 2019? The Act requires companies to review their supply chains and check if workers face human trafficking, servitude, forced labour, deceptive recruiting or other poor practices.
