25.01.2022 If you like a bit of jazz why not check out the Sunday Stage and Screen at the Empire Cinemas in Bowral. This Sunday features Ben Jones playing live with the Peter Locke Trio followed by the classic film Dames. http://empirecinema.com.au/n/sunday-stage-screen-march-2017

24.01.2022 Today's inspiration... There's always hope! The Chrysanthemum is the symbol for joy and optimism and stands for vitality in Chinese culture.

21.01.2022 It's a spotty kind of day!

21.01.2022 It's great to see locals investing in public art. Love it and yes it makes me smile every time I see it!

19.01.2022 I am feeling refreshed from my European holiday and am looking forward to putting all that inspiration back into LOCALlure. I can't wait to start work on a new graphic series!

19.01.2022 Thanks to Yes Press for printing this beautiful book for LOCALlure Design. It's always great tapping into Michael Odgers' brain as he has vast printing knowledge and collaboration is what LOCALlure is all about!

18.01.2022 I have developed a design workshop for kids as part of Learning Labs at UoW & I can't wait to see the results these holidays! Here are some from previous workshops.

18.01.2022 Just letting you all know that I've had to set up a new Facebook page for LOCALlure under my own name as Lauren has decided to pursue further study and undertake a Masters in Education. It's business as usual for me and you can still reach me at [email protected] or visit my website localluredesign.com I wish Lauren the best of luck on her exciting new adventure. I'd appreciate a few likes and shares if possible so I can get my likes back up there again. Thanks, Angelina

17.01.2022 I had the pleasure of collaborating on a project with one of the wonderfully talented students at Mittagong Public school. Don't you just love the outcome!

15.01.2022 We were able to produce a style guide for Powerhouse Group that made it easy for all their design assets to remain consistent across their large corporation.

15.01.2022 Check out the work of Finnish designer Essi Salonen, who has written an interesting guide to collaboration for designers based on her own research and combining the design process. Very helpful for all designers out there! http://www.designingcollaboration.com

14.01.2022 Paper is so much fun to work with because you can fold, cut, crunch, wet, tear, burn, print on it etc. The possibilities are endless! One of my favourite paper artists is Helen Musselwhite from the UK. She's testimony to the fact that there's so much you can do with it! http://helenmusselwhite.com/projects/ Many of my design workshops are inspired by her passion for paper.

14.01.2022 One thing I learnt from my holiday was to take notice and appreciate your surroundings. This is my daughter's way of noticing her immediate environment... isn't it great! (She took a charcoal rubbing of a piece of antique furniture in Genoa, Italy.)

10.01.2022 For any locals interested in woodworking don't forget there's an expo happening at Sturt Gallery, Mittagong this weekend. Get along to see the demonstrations by leading designers; and while you're at it catch the latest exhibition showing too!... There's lots happening this coming weekend at Sturt Gallery from 10am to 4pm.

03.01.2022 Great examples of hand type are everywhere... especially in Paris!
