14.01.2022 Back playing at St Kilda now! Check out these highlights from last Season..

10.01.2022 COVID- 19 update As most of you are now aware we have suspended our current futsal and netball leagues until further notice. Competition managers are currently still notifying team captains. As the government wishes people to play social sport (see links below) for their physical and mental well being, and as a number of teams have expressed an interest in continuing to play we are developing a version of futsal that hopefully solves some of the issues.... As we do not have large audiences at our social games of futsal, the major issues that we face in continuing to play social sport is being able to maintain a social distance, given people are following the normal, sensible hygiene rules e.g. washing your hands, not attending if unwell or have recently been overseas or had contact with someone who has COVID- 19 Some of the key rule changes to comply with government guidelines are: 4V4 (less players on court with more space) 3 touch rules (player must shoot or pass after 3 touches) 1.5m exclusion zone around players There will be 20 minutes after each match to clear the playing area and manage player crossover. The reality is the current guidelines could be in place for up to 6 months. If an interim league goes ahead it will be on a week to week basis as new information and becomes available and guideline change. If you are interested in playing a modified game of futsal please email [email protected] If not we hope you all stay healthy and get through this very difficult time as best as possible. 07.01.2022 COVID-19 Update Reminder to teams that all games have been suspended until further notice. Due to the latest Government guidelines all of our venues are now closed for court hire. We will keep you up to date when we are closer to reopening and picking up the competitions from where they were left. Stay safe and good luck.... Local Sports Management See more
