25.01.2022 Virtual parkrun briefing say hi

24.01.2022 parkrun is set to return to England (not Wales, Scotland & Ireland) at the end of October!!. Why is this exciting news for us? Because it's the first step to re-opening parkruns within the COVID Framework Have a listen - lots of your questions answered as well as an insight into what has been going on behind the scenes.

24.01.2022 Are you lacking the motivation to get back to parkrun? Would you like to improve your walking time? Or would you like to join parkrun but think you are too slow/shy/unfit? Try this easy 8 week plan from parkrun - it's perfect! Everyone has a place at parkrun!... Everyone is welcome at parkrun! See more

23.01.2022 How to log your (not)parkrun. Let's see if we can make the Top 10 in Australia this week!!

23.01.2022 What? A REAL event?? YES!! You have the choice of 10km and 16km . This is always a great event.

22.01.2022 Have you completed 5kms any day this week? Have you logged it? Only 21 particpants logged in so far. I know more than that have done a (not) parkrun this week. So log in and help keep us in the Top 5 Aus and Top in SA

22.01.2022 Just a reminder to everyone that it's important to check in at parkrun using our QR code - you can scan it at many places near our starting point, keep a copy in your car and scan it there, or even scan before you head off from home. It's our Facebook "Cover photo", so you don't need to scroll through posts to find it- just go to the Lochiel parkrun page and the QR code will be in the image at the top (click on it to see the full image). We're so proud of how we've been able to work together as a community to make our events safe each week. Thank you for all of your support!

05.01.2022 IMPORTANT COVID-19 TESTING INFORMATION Please only attend a COVID-19 testing site if you have COVID-19 symptoms OR have been instructed to get tested by SA Heal...th. Visit www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidcontacttracing to find out if you are impacted by the Parafield Cluster AND are required to get tested. We are working hard to extend operating hours of clinics and put on more staff. If you need to get tested: Please be patient with staff who are working hard to organise logistics and collect samples. Be prepared for delays by bringing water and snacks. If you are attending a walk-in site, bring sun protection (sunscreen, hat, umbrella) and a chair. Keep 1.5 metres between yourself and others in line and wear a mask if possible. Do not take other people with you to get tested, other than those you need to care for. Motorists are reminded to not queue across intersections, ensure that you leave enough distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you, drive slowly through the testing sites and ensure you have enough fuel if waiting in line at a drive-through clinic. After your test: Go straight home. Avoid contact with other people. Stay in self-isolation until you receive a negative test result (in certain cases you may be required to remain in self-isolation or self-quarantine if directed to do so by SA Health or SA Police, even if you receive a negative test result). Information on how to self-isolate/self-quarantine: www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/covidisoadvice If you are well but worried, contact the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line on 1800 632 753
