21.01.2022 ROSIE SEARCH UPDATE: SHIH TZU MISSING FROM LOCHINVAR: Unfortunately ROSIE is still missing. Early this morning (6:35am) staff fed the guests and let them out to their grassed yards. On return staff discovered that Rosie had escaped the premises which we believe was due to another dog opening their gate /enclosure. ... Staff have searched the kennels, all buildings onsite, inside and outside, under the house, as well as exploring the parameter of the facility, neighbouring properties and adjoining roads and lanes with no avail. We are all devastated about Rosie's disappearance as we pride ourselves on our outstanding pet care and treat our guests like our own. We've called in additional hands to search the area to locate her. We have multiple parties out looking for her. The community is on high alert as are the neighbouring properties and the RSPCA. If you're on any of our local lost and found pages you'll likely have seen posts about Rosie. However Rosie is yet to be located. ROSIE is a 2 Year Old Shih Tzu and has big beautiful eyes, she's likely really scared. We encourage everyone to share this post around with friends and family in the area so that we can hopefully locate Rosie and get her back safely to her owners. 08.01.2022 Good Morning Everyone from staff and furbabies at Lochinvar Pet Motel. We'd like everyone to know that everyone is safe and well here at the pet motel. We're monitoring the fire situation actively and our team have our evacuation plans in place that will be implemented if need be. In the event of total evacuation customers will be notified by text and we will do our best to keep up to date with social media and our website. We ask that all of our amazing clients please be... patient with us and minimise inquiries so that we can deal with the situation as it unfolds - IF we are impacted by bush fires / emergency. We understand the importance of the health and safety of your pets and we'll be doing everything we can to ensure that this process goes smoothly. We appreciate your trust and support at this time and send a massive thanks to our Firies, SES and local community banding together in times of need.
