18.01.2022 Locked Up Dreadlocks is teaming up with the amazing Short Back & Sidewalks and many other incredibly talented and generous hair stylists this week in Perth. Short back and Sidewalks are a charity that connects people experiencing homelessness with barbers and stylists(and locticians!) free of charge and judgement, and we're super excited to be a part of the awesome work they do.

13.01.2022 What a difference a year makes! Folk often don't believe me when I tell them that their dreads will double, or sometimes even triple in thickness, but here's the gorgeous Jack doing an excellent demonstration of maturation here's his dreads the day they were put in, versus 1 year later.

05.01.2022 Let it never be said that I don't enjoy a challenge! Here's my dread repair job from today. Jason has had dreads for 10yrs, and had maintenance twice in that time! ... He'd lost quite a few dreads on top due to hair elastics wearing away and making weak spots in the dreads. Luckily, we had quite a bit of length left on the survivors to work with. We cut half the length off the longer dreads and reattached them on the top, and the result is pretty excellent.
