24.01.2022 Ok, people, I am about to step up on a soapbox, when you choose to buy things online instead of a locally run business then find out you dont know how it works (if at all) or you dont know how to make it work please dont go to a shop that sells the same things & expect them to waste their time explaining it to you. If you go to a real shop in the first place you will get real service.

21.01.2022 When I had lots of work (years ago) to do it became a tradition that I would take Sarah & Daniel for a 3 night getaway a few times a year, alternating between t...hem so they could have one on one time with me & a break from each other. When the work died down we could not afford to do it anymore which they now miss a lot. Over a year ago now Daniel decided he wanted to go with me away again but this time for 5 nights, I told him we can still not afford it but I would take him if he paid for it thinking that would put him off, well it didnt, he saved everything he could from birthday, Christmas, pocket money to extra jobs around the house to working for me in the shop & now it has come to the time when he has enough to pay for his trip. I am so happy for him as it has taken more than a year to get here, not bad for a 13 yr old. We will be leaving Tuesday 24th & back to work on the Monday 30th. See more

He said he loves coming out here, the people are so friendly, helpful & chatty. Keep it up everyone it is obviously getting noticed even though some people may not say but this fellow was happy to share his praise of this nice country town of ours.

11.01.2022 One of the benefits in living in a country town are you may avoid situations like this story. While I think this area is safe from these sorts of scams we still have to be careful of unlicensed people or handymen doing a task that requires a license such as hiring a handyman to do a task when they are not licensed can result in a hefty fine for both parties. 09.01.2022 Well who needs a wholesale lock supply store in Brisbane now that bunnings is in town. Today I saw a lockwood lock in there for $157 and from my wholesale store it was $174.50, it goes to show the buying power of bulk purchasers.
