25.01.2022 We're back on!!!

19.01.2022 At playgroup last week we took advantage of the warmer weather and constructed our own boats to float in the water tubs outside. The children listened intently to the books 'Row, row, row your boat' & 'Who sank the boat?' Then they all thoroughly enjoyed experimenting to see whether objects would float on the water or sink to the bottom!

19.01.2022 Welcome back to everyone for Term 1 for 2020! It was lovely to start back last week and catch up on what everyone had been up to over the holidays We began the term with an adorable little story called 'Millie Loves Ants' and all the children got involved with the craft activity of making their own air-dry clay Echidnas. Well done they looked terrific!

19.01.2022 Last Tuesday at playgroup children enjoyed various Easter activities as seen below and created their own beautifully decorated Easter eggs. Many thanks to all the families that have come along and supported our playgroup this term. We have had lots of fun!! ** Please note due to the current circumstances Playgroup will not be running this week and during the school holidays. I'll keep you posted as to when we will resume our weekly playgroup** Take care everyone

15.01.2022 Last week at playgroup the children enjoyed the classic story of 'Harry the Dirty Dog' by Gene Zion. They enjoyed getting to know this cheeky character who enjoyed everything except having a bath!! Children were super enthusiastic when making and wearing their own Harry headband. Well done kids!

13.01.2022 As love was in the air last week (Valentine's day ) we decided to 'share the love' at playgroup with various simple little heart crafts as seen below. Overall, I think the heart-shaped fairybread may have won the kids over!

13.01.2022 Last week at playgroup we read the story 'The Very Brave Bear' by Nick Bland. The children kept their little hands busy by making their own fork-painted bears. It was a new and clever painting technique that certainly created different textures and lines. Fantastic job kids!!! Hope to see you in the morning

11.01.2022 What a busy time we had at playgroup last Wednesday!! We all had hands on fun making some fresh wheat flour using a grain mill. The children then enjoyed making the flour into playdough. A big thankyou to Phoebe for sharing your knowledge with us all

09.01.2022 Ahoy there, me hearties!! Check out the photos below to see all the 'piratey' fun we had last week From the pirate memory game & walk the plank to finding hidden treasure in the sand! Children enjoyed an array of activities concluding with a treasure hunt to find their own golden (chocolate) treasure!!

08.01.2022 Last week at playgroup the children listened very intently to our story ''The Star of the Zoo'. A beautiful story of how anything is possible if you work together! The star sensory bag was a popular activity as was our glittery star craft. Playgroup will be on in the morning 9:30-11:30am.

07.01.2022 5,4,3,2,1...Lift off!!! What an exciting time we had exploring space last week at playgroup! Children enjoyed playing in the rocket ship cubby as well as making their own starry night sky with rockets and fun straw rockets. We also used the parachute to 'blast the balls' into the air and practiced our counting down from 5 to 1.... lift off!

03.01.2022 Did you know?...There are only 3 Wednesdays left for this term!! Always a good reminder that children learn through play. Hope to see you tomorrow!!

01.01.2022 Hi everyone! Due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in Victoria, we are taking a cautious approach to reopening playgroup. We will assess how case numbers go over the next couple of weeks (following the holiday break) and will inform you as to when we plan on running again. Hoping all our wonderful playgroup families understand and we look forward to meeting up again soon

At present we are still currently not able to meet due to the restrictions, however we are hoping that over the next few weeks this may change. I will update this page as soon as we know more.
