21.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Were are scheduled to leave for Cloncurry on the 3rd March, have pickups along the way on the Gold Coast and Toowoomba. Expect to arrive in Cloncurry: the main distribution centre for the Mt.Isa, Julia Creek, & Winton area: on Thursday (7th) or Friday (8th). We will be driving along the Newell Highway to the Gold Coast via Warwick. Then via Toowoomba, Rome, Augathella and Longreach (Via the A2). Happy to pick up anything along the way, however we are restricted t...o smaller goods since we will only have a Ranger ute and 2 horse angle float. Prefered pickup points would be, Ist Leg:- Echuca, Deniliquin, Jerilderie, Narrandera, West Wyalong, Parks/Forbes, Dubbo, Coonabarabran, Narrabri, Moree, Goondiwindi, Warwick, Gold Coast. 2nd Leg:- Toowoomba, Dalby, Roma, Augathella, Blackall, Barcaldine & Longreach. I am willing to pick-up locally before departure if is is reasonable quantities. ie. Yea/Shepparton/Kilmore and Ballarat. we have a drop of point in Kyneton for the Macedon region. Lockington Hooves & Paws are donation over $3K worth (at cost) to kick off the DRIVE. Remember, these people have lost everything except maybe the shirt on their back and will need Tack for their surviving horses and anything for themselves. See more

21.01.2022 Hi Everyone,were are back on line and apologise for our lack of communications. Since coming back from our most successful trip to Cloncurry (donation drive) we have been very slack significantly off colour, to say the lest. Any way, Back to work. Our stock records are slightly out of wack since we have donated significant quantities to Cloncurry Flood victims and recent sponsorships.. We have decided to leave our winter rugs (Euro-Fit) on special till the end of June. We will be doing a stock take within the next week and updating our records, We still have some Factory Seconds in stock,details to be advised. Sponsorships to date: Little Red Dragons (50 show bags), Lockington Pony Club (Hay bags).

16.01.2022 So finally have time to sit down and do a post from the Australian National Arabian Show held at Boneo Park. We only had two ponies there but WOW what a show fo...r us. Rezeema Klass Act Top 5 Preliminary Dressage(3) after winning his first test, he got caught in the hail & rain with his second test, ridden beautifully by Megan Cheeseman. Top 10 Showhunter. NPTH ridden by myself. SILVER CHAMPION Led Arabian Pony Stallion Led beautifully by Aiden Rhys Sgro Cunningham. BRONZE CHAMPION ridden SHOWHUNTER Galloway/ Pony, again perfectly ridden by Megan. Top 5 Ridden Arabian Pony ridden by Megan. Rezeema Klass Princess Top 10 (4) Led Junior Arabian Derivative by NPTH Led by myself. Top 10 (4) Led Yearling Arabian Pony Filly led beautifully by Doyle Dertell. To say we are happy with our ponies is an understatement. Both horses were beautifully turned out by Kate Dertell, Doyle and all the team at Future Farms. I cannot thank Megan enough for all she has done with my boy under saddle, it has been an amazing season across 2 states. A big thanks to Aiden for showing Ralph in hand. 16.01.2022 Arrive lunch time yesterday and unloaded. Were invited to a lions dinner last night. In to motel to day, resting for the drive home tomorrow. 4313.1kms, 53.35 hours driving. 5.8km/l fuel. Interesting to see the figures for home. Jim and Yvonne

12.01.2022 Delivering the goods to the Lions Club in Cloncurry. Greg; the local mayor; help with the unloading and invited us to the dinner to raise money for the flood victims. As he said in his speach " it will take many years for them to get over this disasters, but with support like we have here tonight, they will find the strength to soldier on" Unfortunately Yvonne and I were to stuffed to remain for the full function. Rest day today, off home tomorrow.
