25.01.2022 This is the coffee I brewed this morning. I hadn't even put it in my mouth before I got my first emergency job. Just got home and its cold. Took a few sips but I just got another job.... mind you my day was booked and I haven't started on their jobs yet. 23.01.2022 One thing a locksmith does is spend alot of time looking for tiny little pins or springs they drop off they fling off. But never in my 20 years experience have I spent so much time looking for a turning bar on flat ground... decking yes as it falls through the crack. But 15 mins later I found it. Can anyone see it? A picture of what you are looking for is in the comments.

22.01.2022 Oops.. transponder keys are mistaken as ones with buttons.. which are keyless access. Not all transponder keys have this function. But without that little chip in the key it won't talk to the car saying ''this is the correct key you aren't being stolen' This guy made a very expensive mistake

19.01.2022 I have finally done it and joined the Jim's group of franchises. Branching out though to go with current times. I do quotes please answer the questions below. Please include your address locality..I will travel to any state and location. 1. What did you eat yesterday? Eg. Curry, chilli, vegetarian, asparagus ... 2. How often a day do you go? Ie: each visit has a charge. Go 4 times the 5th is free.. there is a frequent flyer card. 3. Do you need a clean after no 1 and 2 or just no. 2? 4. Do you use TP for blowing nose? Do you need nose jobs done too? 5. Masks.. do I need? N95 basic mask P2 mask Carbon filter Double filter Oxygen tank Full body suit Hazmat gear? 19.01.2022 Due to my Ute dying, I have had to finish work earlier than expected. All jobs that came in before hand will be completed (please don't push me though, I will do them at my will) I have been lent a car but working is very difficult without key machine and my tool box on wheels. There hasn't been a job yet that I have been able to complete because I just didn't have the tool or part so had to drive back to Kingscote. I am also not wanting to use this car more than I need and ...would like to give it back in one piece and doing a trade out the back of a station wagon isn't neat. So I apologise for the inconvenience this has created. I have been here for 12 years and there was no locksmith before me and you survived. There just isn't the work here to continue, I guess I got you all up to date for another 12 years. I have enjoyed my stay on the island, met some amazing people, this really is a beautiful place to live. Goodbye and good luck

17.01.2022 With Deep regret I have become one of those businesses on the island that just can't keep their head above water. So I have decided that I need to move on. I arrived in August 2007 just in time to be introduced to the devastation that fires can do. But with that I saw how a small community band together and help each other and I have seen that numerous times throughout my time here. I love my garage sales because I came here with a 9 tonne cattle truck, van and trailer fille...d with 3 household worth of furniture and I needed to slowly get rid of unwanted items, sadly every time rumours were spread that I had left the island, but I can now reveal it was all a massive social experiment of the 'boy who cried wolf' syndrome and this is the last stage now I actually am moving you will all think I am staying and you will all call me for work in March. If you have any jobs that you have been putting off please book me in before the end of February. Thank you for those that have used my services, had coffee with me, sat on committees with me and volunteered with me. I have enjoyed this beautiful island and the many faces I have met. I will be back I am sure, and if I get enough jobs booked in after I leave I can come over for a few days/weeks to get them done. THANK YOU FOR ACCEPTING ME AND MAKING ME FAMILY ON THIS ISLAND.

13.01.2022 What not to do with a tonne of stock in the back and after heavy rains the night before.. or in the middle of nowhere out back of NSW Very slippery.. not even a pile of bark and twigs under the tyre is moving it. Not going deeper though just spinning likes it's on rollers. Note to self: buy traction ramps

This gold multibolt I sell for $45 each. I am going to sell at $10 each if you buy more than one.. this gold one I have 9 keyed the same. So you could lock up all your windows using just one key. I also have silver and black ones. ... These are way below cost so only available with payment tomorrow. Credit card payments available. Come and check out my stand... will be cutting keys at a special rate so bring your keys to cut.

12.01.2022 I am not on kangaroo island anymore.... no problems for this past client. Wanted to rekey the house so sent me a pic of the lock they changed over on the front door and the key (example of key shown only.. not the one she had) Sliding door was an old lock and she wanted it keyed the same. No problems. Using the code on her new key I keyed new cylinders up ... she didn't need a whole new lock and she swapped over easy as. Now her house is keyed to one key again. ... Would have been just as easy for me to send her a matching set front and back... no new lock purchase required. No locksmith on kangaroo island but I still might be able to help you. Don't hesitate to call and find out.

Advertising a callout fee of just $45 online, in what has been dubbed a scam by the industry, some locksmiths are enticing clients who are desperate to get back into their homes when locked out.... But the final bill can be as much as $400-$500 when those posing as locksmiths, some of whom have been revealed as backpackers, ruin locks in the process. Domain is aware of one case where a home owner called and was billed multiple times as the problem was not fixed as originally promised. It should be around $99.

09.01.2022 Greg O'Hara rescuing customers that were dealing with some scammers... how the scammer didn't get in after doing that to the lock just proves he has no idea. Sometimes locksmiths have to break in by drilling. We know where to drill... one spot. We don't wreck the lock.. we replace the cylinder only. This is only after we have tried picking the lock.
