This applies to both our senior and junior programs. If you have any questions about the club's response to the Covid Regulations we ask that you make contact with the appropriate official beforehand to resolve the queries.

24.01.2022 Lockleys football Club is seeking Trainers for Season 2021 and beyond. A current level 1 or 2 accreditation with SA Sports Medicine Association is desirable as is demonstrated experience with sports groups and athletes. Experience with Australian Rules Football will be highly regarded.... Remuneration will be reflected in the position and duties carried out as a trainer. Lockleys Football Club is a friendly and inclusive organisation. We have great facilities and new clubrooms. 13.01.2022 Reserves coach for 2021 appointed 2020 Reserves premiership coach Paul Rafanelli will coach the reserves in 2021. Paul has had a great start to his coaching life at Lockleys’s with a grand final appearance in 2019 and a win in 2020.

12.01.2022 A grade Co coaches announced for 2021 The club would like to announce Matthew Mcdonough and Tom Clarke as the A grade coaches for 2021 Matt was a premiership player for the club in 2020 after joining his brother Tom ( also a 2020 premiership player ) last year from Keith Football club after stints at Richmond FC & North Adelaide Football Club. ... Tom came to us last year as an assistant coach in the A grade after previously winning 2x Mail medals and premierships at Port Bulldogs and PHOS Camden Football Club. Also had 4 seasons at Central Districts in the Sanfl We are looking forward to seeing what they bring to the playing group. Best of luck guys

10.01.2022 Let the good times keep rolling... LOCKLEYS FC NAMED CHAMPION CLUB OF 2020! The Champion Club Cup is awarded to the most successful Adelaide Footy League Club over the course of the season.... There are a range of criteria from win/loss on the field and conducting its affairs in a manner befitting a Member Club of The League. Teams are awarded five points for a win, three for a draw and two for a loss. Points are also deducted for Club penalties including tribunal and then administrative duties such as Sunday Mail. The total number of points is divided by the Club’s number of teams to produce a final points average. This is another huge accolade for the Club and it's entire community for achieving success in what has been the most difficult circumstances for any season of recent times. The Best 'Little' Club in Town!

04.01.2022 Another big announcement as promised... Another award that was confirmed at the 2020 AGM, the outgoing long term Treasurer, Frank Bottin was also announced as a Life Member of LFC. Frank started his life as a Demon as a junior coach back around 2006 and a committee member. From the next season onwards he was both a coach and the club treasurer which is quite the incredible individual commitment.... While handling both roles he guided teams to back to back Junior Premierships in 2008 and 2009. All we spoke too said Frank was a committed, unwavering coach and it seems that the tough love coaching philosophy was very quick to bring the ultimate success. When he stepped away from coaching he continued as Treasurer for 12 years. In those years he took us from hand written ledger and paper checks into the future of Excel spreadsheets and online banking. It is fitting that as he leaves his role, the club sits in the strongest financial position in its 70 year history. Credit is thoroughly deserved and duly recognized with this, the club’s highest individual honour. Join us in congratulating Frank.
