Hot Shots at 10am & 12pm Cardio Tennis at 11am & 1pm... Please note all activities run for 30mins, other activities might be available based on numbers. 09.01.2022 Tennis SA are excited to be announcing the nominations for Tennis SA Winter Pennant 2019 will be opening on the 25th of February. Part of the upcoming Winter season offerings will be a Mixed Doubles Competition run as a Pilot. The purpose of this offering is to provide a competition product which isnt currently available over Winter. 08.01.2022 RAISE A RACQUET 2018-19 season news... Glenelg and Western Districts Tennis Associations have voted to trial combined mens and womens senior competitions for ...the coming season. This will offer a greater number of grades for different player levels. And it will mean new friends, new vistas, new watering holes to try on the way home after just 3 hours of exercise! So all you tennis tragics, start talking to players either previously lost to tennis and interested in dusting off an old racquet .. particularly all your gal pals. More info coming soon. 02.01.2022 BIG NEWS !! Please Share To All Our Legendary Members Past and Present ! The Mellor Park TC is excited to finally announce that we will be moving into our new premises at Lockleys Oval ready for the start of the Summer 2019/20 season !! Our new facility will consist of six full size courts plus two additional dedicated hot shot courts all fully fenced with lighting, there will be an online booking system for casual court use and hire (including the use of the lights), playe...r and spectator shelters, court side clubhouse style facility plus another clubhouse in the main building, shaded playground and grassed areas for the kids to play and members to relax! As many know the past five years have been a very challenging time for the club due to circumstances outside of our control, the committee deeply appreciates the loyalty shown by all our members during this period and it is a testament to the strength of the club and its culture lead by our "spiritual leader" Big Robbie that we have survived through this even managing to win premierships on rented courts !! How good is that !!!! In appreciation to all our current members there will be no player fees charged for this coming Summer 2018/19 season (thats right - its free to play this summer!!) and we are also offering a 50% discount for all brand new members for the Summer 2018/19 season as well !! For more information please email [email protected] As we now embark on a new journey in the clubs history we invite all past members to re-connect with us and be part of a new chapter at Lockleys Oval in 2019, the club will be offering a brand new coaching program lead by Colin Mander a tennis veteran and highly regarded coach and mentor, a brand new juniors development programme, social mid-week tennis and of course continue our tradition of Saturday afternoon (and night...) seniors domination!
