25.01.2022 Darts Qld are planning on hosting a Junior State Championships in February to give back to the Juniors. This is going to be hosted at Redlands on 20th & 21st February 2021. A Queensland Team will be selected although a Australian Championships will not be held in 2021.

19.01.2022 Gday Lockyer Darters, looks like we are set for a restart on Tuesday 21st (B Grade) and Wednesday 22nd (A Grade) of July. We have submitted and had our COVID safe plan approved (special thanks to Tami Leck for her help). AGM is at 2pm 19th of July with a mqximum of 32 able to attend. So with 16 teams and 6 committee members that only leaves 10 spots available for extras, 6 of those spots are already filled so if you want in let me know quickly. There will be a raft of social distancing and hygiene changes due to the COVID pandemic so its important that when you return you are willing to accept the changes before you come back and play (honestly nothing to onerous) We are so excited to be back playing darts again lets see how rusty we are

19.01.2022 Hey Lockyer Darters just a reminder that our AGM is on next Sunday 19th July at 2pm. All captains or there nominated representative must be there please. It is our intention to return to darts on Tuesday 21st July for B Grade and Wednesday 22nd July for A Grade. Strict COVID rules will be in place which will reduce the spectators to a minimum. All this will be discussed at the AGM so please feel free to come along. Dependant on weather we will set up some chairs outside if t...he numbers swell to more than we cater for. COVID has changed the way we will play darts for the foreseeable future so be prepared for the change and be patient (especially with your committee) whilst the implementation is happening. 17.01.2022 Alright Lockyer Darters, we need your help. We are running the BBQ at the markets this Saturday and most of our usual suspects are at a junior comp this weekend or on holidays. If you can spare some time to give us a hand it would be greatly appreciated. 14.01.2022 Gday Lockyer Darters... Just letting you know your committee is working closely with Darts Queensland and QSports to get back at the oche as soon as it is safe to do so. The Australian Government have rated darts as a category 3 indoor sport, therefore we can not start until after category 3 restrictions have been lifted. We are working on a COVID safe plan to ensure everybody gets to enjoy darts as safely as possible. With this in mind there will be some major changes to th...e way we play with the biggest change being the separation on the A Grafe and B Grade comps. The most likely being A Grade Tuesday nights and B Grade Wednesday nights. Also for 2020 there will only be one round that will go through until the end of November (including finals). Captains, check with your teams and let us know if you intend to return ASAP so we can redo the draw. Looking forward to seeing you all at the board again soon See more

This means that we now have some breathing space in relation to amount of people we are now allowed in the hall. Please Note ; our previous Covid Plan stated no spectators, our updated plan, will now allow spectators BUT only with approval from the COVID Co-Ordinator. (and if numbers allow) We still have strict numbers and rules we MUST adhere too! ... 12.01.2022 Okay Lockyer Darters in the interest of your safety and well-being it has been decided that we will postpone all Wednesday night fixtures for the foreseeable future. This will be reassessed mid April and we will notify again. The AGM set for March 28 will also be postponed. The COVID-19 virus has found its way to the Lockyer Valley with reported confirmed cases in Gatton. To all our members and their family we want you to be safe, please follow all of the instructions given by the government.

11.01.2022 With heavy hearts the Lockyer Committee wishes to inform all Lockyer darters of the passing of Lyn Lea. Lyn was a member of Lockyer Darts for many years before going on to play in the big smoke. Our condolences go out to Andy and her family.
