22.01.2022 This is our last week of attempting to raise our funding commercially after many years hard work. If we do not succeed we are going to establish a cooperative so that Australians can own it for Australia. The project is Financially viable and profitable from the completion of year one. Will be aiming to raise $80 million to get started which is 80,000 Australians putting $1000 each in and becoming member/shareholders and entitled to dividends in the future

18.01.2022 Now is the time. Lets rebuild Australias manufacturing base. We are in end stage negotiations to fund the Cannery. What better way to start moving forward then increasing dramatically the volume of long life vegetable products, grown in Australia, packed in Australia, sustainably managed with environmentally responsible practices and an absolute commitment to the highest and safest quality foods-fresh - canned- powdered - frozen - all from Australian farms - 144 jobs year one- growing to 400 by year three in the Lockyer Valley alone.

17.01.2022 Pineapple girl says: We produce and package 100% bee pollen from Australian Bees here in Australia- (see picture) why cant we freeze, package, powder or can Australian grown beetroots. The Lockyer Valley wants to grow 30,000 tons per annum, but we need to build the Cannery first- create jobs and grow the Queensland economy- a no brainer

16.01.2022 Lockyer cannery just weeks away from funding sign off The man behind a highly anticipated cannery for the Lockyer Valley says he is only weeks away from signing off on vital funding. Lockyer Valley Cannery proponent Colin Dorber said he had secured $80 million from a private Australian source to cover the cost of the land, building, equipment and start-up.... Construction of the frozen and canned goods factory on 52 acres at Withcott could begin this year, with the plant operational by March 2022. Mr Dorber said the breakthrough after nine years of setbacks was a huge win for growers decimated by the closure of Golden Circle in 2011. "We are in the end-stage of negotiations for the funding," he told the Gatton Star. "By mid-June we will have the funding documents finalised and signed and we will be shovel-ready 12 weeks from when the funding is received." Full story: https://www.gattonstar.com.au/search/?tag=lockyer%20valley We are seeking investors to assist in making Lockyer Valley Cannery a reality. This is an opportunity for mum and dad investors to support local farmers and secure food supplies for future generations. For just $1000 investment you can be part of this exciting food revolution. 14.01.2022 I wonder if the time has come? Australias manufacturing industry could face a resurgence based on quality, environmental responsibility, food safety, job crea...tion, clever technology and practical economic development all on the back of this terrible pandemic and its related economic chaos A Food processing facility in Cannery in the Lockyer Valley Queensland could generate up to 400 jobs skilled and semi skilled; in a depressed economic region, massively expand the regional vegetable growing industry ranked as the seventh most fertile zone in the world and with an aquifer create a market not only for Australia, but export of the best quality vegetables grown under the most sensible environmentally responsible conditions possible harvested, Processed either fresh, frozen, powdered, canned, etc etc. A company owned by Australians for Australians? With dollar for dollar funding arrangements with the federal government and would provide sustainable jobs for the next 40 years, dramatically reduce the need for people living in theLockyer Valley to leave the Valley, and boost the domestic market. What do you think?
14.01.2022 Have a great day eat only Aussie pineapples posted by Pineapple Girl
14.01.2022 A little bit of truth. Lots of people think Golden Circle is Australian and only produces Australian fruit and vegetable products. Golden Circle is owned by HIENZ and has been for some 10 years. It was HIENZ who closed the Australian beetroot industry. Golden Circle is a brand only owned by HIENZ. Its products come in from overseas including the Philippines New Zealand (including large volumes of product from China destined for the Australian market) and other places. Go...lden Circle has almost single-handedly destroyed the further processing facilities for pineapples, in addition to beetroot. The facility at Northgate in Brisbane is a disgrace
13.01.2022 The federal government today is talking about business plans for farmers as part of its drought relief strategy. The best business plan for the Lockyer Valley is for farmers and growers to join forces and support the establishment of the Food Processing Facility in the Valley;which will provide a long-term sustainable and profitable industry for the whole community to benefit from. We are ready to run and hopeful very soon that the whistle will be blown.

04.01.2022 Manufacturing and value adding - what has happened so far with government! Not a lot maybe Prime Minister Morrison’s announcement today could be a catalyst. We have the proof financially environmentally ethically that we can deliver jobs long-term employment high-level manufacturing skills and a massive utilisation of under used products - Currently and illogically imported from overseas. We will now try again with the federal government

01.01.2022 UPDATE: Please find below the latest update about progress in relation to the formation of the Lockyer Valley Cooperative, which is intended to be the 80% shareholder owner ultimately of the proposed Food Processing Facility and Cannery to be located in Withcott Queensland. The final issues relevant to the application for registration as a cooperative have now been resolved, and we understand that we will know (within 28 days of lodgement) from the Department of Fair Trading..., Queensland, if the Cooperative will be registered. Separately to this we are in continued discussions with significant potential investors with outcomes due within the next 8 to 10 working days. Whatever those results might be (and we have been engaged in extensive due diligence); we are proceeding with the Cooperative in order to achieve the key goal that thousands of people have identified is the most relevant - namely that the food processing facility be Australian owned and operated. As soon as we have the next step in place, I will be contacting the 150 people who responded and registered for the first shares to be issued by the Cooperative; your applications have been documented and an application for the payment of those shares will be forwarded to you, once our registration is approved; and the date of the formation meeting of the Cooperative is announced. This information has been provided to all currently registered and interested potential members of the cooperative; and the current shareholders of the Lockyer Valley Fruit & Vegetable Processing Facility Pty Ltd.
