23.01.2022 I am happy to announce that Anuha Services Gatton are now back to operating their commercial kitchen!! We are now selling jams etc for Anuha at shop 5 Laidley Shopping Mall on wednesday, Friday and saturday mornings. Prices are listed on photo attached but we have some new varieties for you to try. They are all home made with love and care, giving people with a disability the opportunity to gain experience in the food and hospitality industry. The 10 flavours we are stocking ...at the moment are as follows- Fig jam Mango jam Pineapple jam Rosella jam Ginger marmalade Beetroot chutney Mustard pickles Tomato chutney Tomato relish Tomato cucumber relish So come on down and try some delicious jams and relishes. 11.01.2022 Charity Spotlight - POOPS (Pets of Older Persons) Age, medical conditions and disability can prevent many owners from being able to fully care for their pets. This is where Pets of Older Persons, or POOPS as it is affectionately known, can help.... POOPS is a NFP organisation run entirely by volunteers, helping pet owners over the age of 65, palliative care patients of any age and people with disabilities in caring for their beloved pets. The team of over 500 volunteers mission is to Keep people and pets together and they accomplish this by offering assistance with dog walking and provide transportation for pets to/from vet clinics or boarding kennels. They also assist with feeding pets and administering medication. Over 200 clients from Yanchep to Mandurah, across the central suburbs to the Hills and Armadale to Serpentine are connected with volunteers. POOPS even opened its first regional branch in Busselton! If you would like to become a volunteer with POOPS or know of someone who might benefit from their assistance, head to their website for further information at poopswa.org.au.
