25.01.2022 Bring back AFL footy in the Valley We will need definite interest to see if we can get the numbers to form AFL senior men and womens teams for 2019 at least 30 players in each. so register your interest with name, mobile, and which team your wanting to play in ASAP Also we need a new committee to run the club so if you are interested or know of anyone with the passion to get this club back up and running get them to call me to discuss what is needed (Tony ) on 0458665876... 18.01.2022 Our club has suffered badly in the past couple of years due to poor management, a lack of support and no sponsorship so it is time for some new direction and drive from the next generation to the club. 15.01.2022 Due to not enough support for teams in the AFL 9s comp it will not go ahead at this time but we will keep trying and will run it at some stage during the year. For those who were going to support it thank you for your commitment and hope we can grow the numbers to get it up and running asap. As for anyone still wanting to have a run on Monday nights I am willing to help out with training and fitness if anyone wants too or if we get enough numbers to make up a couple of teams... we can have a bit of a modified footy game. 02.01.2022 Attention members. and Community.... Due to various reasons and after indepth conversations with AFLDD & AFLQ , the Lockyer Valley Demons executives have made the desicion to not field any teams..Junior/Senior for the 2018 season. This desicion did not come easy however due to a combination of things that we will not disclose on a public page (happy to take calls for further explanation), nor have enough time to write a story. This will ONLY be for the 2018 season and we will... be using this year to rebuild the teams for 2019. We will however be running AFL9s for 14yrs and over & AFLX for 16s and seniors this season,,as advertised, so i hope that all of you get onboard with this to assist in the rebuild. This invite to play is open to all areas to come along and nominate a team.... We are also still giving our 100% full support to the ABCG (Advanced Breast Cancer Group) and we would like to thank any of the sponsors that have continued to support us through this difficult time.. For any juniors looking to play..we have an arrangment with the Fervale Rattlers AFC who will look after our kids for the season so they are ready to come back for next season..
