11.01.2022 I will admit I was really surprised after the polls we did on our story a couple of days ago that 74% of people felt like they needed advice on what haircare products to use on their hair. As a hair stylist myself, I believe in educating my clients, and helping them understand what will best suit their hairs needs and lifestyle. You dont need a bathroom full of a million products, you just need to choose wisely.... When looking at what products you need for your hair, the first step to think cleansing. Using a shampoo designed for moisture or volume will clean your hair, but its not its primary function, its primary function is to increase volume or moisture. A good cleansing shampoo (or peppermint) will give you the best starting base to then use the products to give you your desired look. However saying this, if the volume or moisture products you are using do not have any chemicals, silicones and parabens (like @locou_haircare ) it means your hair wont be weighed down if you did use a moisture or volume based product. To wrap this up as I can talk about hair all day, use a good cleansing shampoo, then a shampoo and conditioner targeted at the problem you want to fix. Treat your locks once a week, have a go to leave-in product to protect your hair from heat styling and even if you leave your hair natural help it repair and stay hydrated.
