24.01.2022 WA NEWS: By-Laws Whats Changed? This article discusses how the new changes to the WA Strata Titles Act classify Schedule 1 and Schedule 2 by-laws. The new version of the Strata Titles Act classifies the by-laws in Schedule 1 as Governance by-laws and the by-laws in Schedule 2 as Conduct by-laws.... One of the biggest changes to the standard by-laws is the inclusion of some of them into the Act itself. Whilst others have been removed from Schedule 1 and incorporated into Schedule 2. 23.01.2022 WA NEWS: Appealing Decisions of the State Administrative Tribunal The amendments to the Strata Titles Act 1985 (WA) (the Act) passed at the end of 2018 will make the State Administrative Tribunal (SAT) the sole forum for the resolution of strata disputes. These amendments to the Act will make the SAT a one-stop-shop for strata dispute resolution. This simplification of the dispute resolution process will be a significant improvement for parties involved in strata disputes.... 21.01.2022 DISCOVER THE LOC DIFFERENCE "From the minute we first made contact with Edward Love and his team, it was clear that Love OC were a trustworthy, competent and professional organisation. Within days, Edward Love and Bob Miller attended our property and met with the OC Committee representatives. At this time, we presented them with a no holds barred account of all the problems that we had encountered, showed them first-hand the extent of major building defects and were open... about the present troubled state of our OC. It is at this point that any lesser team would have understandably walked out the door - to take on an OC and property with such extensive issues obviously came with much risk!
