11.01.2022 Needed- volunteer fixers The Loddon Sustainable Living Group is looking to start a Repair Cafe in Inglewood later this year. As such, I’m looking for clever people who would be willing to volunteer their time one day a month (at most). This includes people who know how to fix toys, clothing, wooden items, bicycles, and electrical appliances. Now I can sew, but I’m not great at it and I’m slower than a wet week. So we really need people who are pretty confident at their cra...ft. My hope is that this cafe will not just save a lot of stuff from ending up in landfill, but will provide a meeting place for our community. If you or someone else you know is clever at fixing things, and would also be happy to show people how to fix things, please do let me know. The next Loddon Sustainability Group will be meeting held on Sunday the 19th of January, at the Inglewood Community Neighbourhood House, from 2pm-4pm if you would like to meet and exchange ideas!
