04.01.2022 To all our valued guests we are still hoping to open Lodge Blue Mount for the 2020/2021 snow season. Like Australia, Japan has handled the COVID-19 pandemic very well, so it is looking as though the Japanese Government will allow the 2020/2021 snow season to go ahead. The uncertainty we have is whether we, as Australians, are allowed by the Australian Government to travel to Japan in December or January! If Greg and I can get to Japan our lodge will be open even if it is on...ly to service our Expats and others living in Japan! In the meantime, our Australian guests may like some guaranteed snow time in our Mt Hotham accommodation in Dinner Plain as the Australian snow season is scheduled to commence on the 24th June. Our accommodation in Dinner Plain (a beautiful village in the snowline, 10-15 minute drive from Mt Hotham) is a centrally located cosy, three level, two bedroom, two bathroom, fully self-contained apartment with fire place, drying room and off street parking, which accommodates up to 6 people.
