23.01.2022 Loftus maintains and manages servers and networks for the District Council of Mount Barker. This enables their in-house IT team to focus on other council tasks with confidence. The seamless implementation of Citrix cloud networks has enabled remote productivity, as well as mobile device management. This has made the iPad a tool of choice for DCMB employees. Loftus is now a trusted partner, and exclusively manages DCMBs IT needs. Laratinga Wetlands... Loftus has developed a centralised, remotely-managed water management solution which has improved financial, environmental and resourcing issues for DCMB, by cutting down on site visits and travel time. Water pumping stations are now managed remotely, enabling DCMB staff to simulate flood or drought conditions from afar. The system has also helped to sustain native flora and fauna and conserve water as part of the award winning Laratinga Wetlands project. It has benefited the community by converting grey water into Class A recycled water used for market gardening and watering parks and reserves such as the Callington football oval. Some of the technologies used as a part of this project were: - SCADA Industry Control System - OpenGear 3G Routers - Cisco Enterprise Network equipment - Supported by the Loftus Infrastructure Team and Service Desk

13.01.2022 Flinders Mines is an Adelaide based, emerging Australian iron ore mining company, with a focus in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Flinders Mines is an Adelaide based, emerging Australian iron ore mining company, with a focus in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. During 2011, Loftus seamlessly assisted the company to move their core infrastructure to their new CBD premises in Adelaide, while maintaining critical uptimes and communications to remote sites. Additi...onally, proactive maintenance of critical systems like email messaging and data access ensures that staff can maintain the desired levels of productivity. Loftus understanding of infrastructure environments required within the mining sector has resulted in the complete outsourcing of all infrastructure requirements, negating the need (and the cost) for an in-house IT team at Flinders Mines. This relationship has allowed Loftus and Flinders Mines to explore and expand their reliance on IT, resulting in real-time changes being met and innovative growth within the Australian mining industry. The deployment of highly-available, robust, scalable systems ensures remote data connectivity, meaning head office and the Pilbara are connected to meet growing business demands. These core systems have resulted in downtime being reduced from days to hours just another way Flinders Mines and Loftus are increasing productivity in the field. Some of the technologies used as a part of this project were: - HP Enterprise Servers and Storage - VMware virtualisation - Microsoft Windows Deployment Services - Microsoft Windows Server infrastructure
