25.01.2022 The formal season is over for another year and it was a pleasure to make or alter so many beautiful gowns . Ill feature some of them over the next few days. The gorgeous Lexie designed her own gown which was made with a super soft Galena velvet in turquoise. A great choice for this Princess who lives in a real castle! The gown features a lace up front, boned seams for a great fitted bodice and mermaid tail, fluffed out with lots of tulle attached to the lining. I hope you had a fabulous night Lexie!

21.01.2022 A recent creation at LMSS were these fabulous bespoke dungarees for the lovely Kate Davies. Featuring a fitted bodice with a sweetheart neckline, a waistband for centre definition and cuffed, bootleg pant - could Kate look any more gorgeous?

16.01.2022 Its always fabulous when clients follow through with their promised photos! My client, Debbie, looked stunning in her role as mother-of-the-bride. Debbie chose lavender silk dupion for her ensemble - plain for the dress, embroidered and beaded for the jacket. We added a tie and pocket square to proud dad, Roy and Mum surprised daughter Amy with a tartan lucky horseshoe in their clan colours! Congratulations Amy.

13.01.2022 Good morning, I hope everyone has a great week full of variety! I never know just what will land on my sewing table in any given week. From making leotards for a 1980s party, an outfit for the 1950s, Indian Saris and Choli (blouse), 14 African Tribal outfits, 20 curtain hems and all the regular alterations in between. This week sees me beginning alterations on Spring wedding and bridesmaids outfits. Lots of those coming up and Melbourne Cup Day is just around the corne...r also! What can I sew for you? 04.01.2022 Another busy and diverse week in my sewing room! From beading and blinging an Indian Choli to adding patches and new zip to leather vest to making Paris themed curtains and cushion covers for my clients granddaughters room and of course - lots of spring wedding dresses and bridesmaids. Never a dull moment thats for sure!

04.01.2022 School formals are just around the corner so I thought I would share some of the amazing dresses I have created for my clients. The girls come to me with their ideas, inspirations (and budget) and together we make magic happen! I include a 3 hour shopping trip if needed so we can be sure to buy the right fabric for the job. 03.01.2022 Amber chose a beautiful formal gown in aqua and navy blue. All that was needed to perfect the fit of Ambers dress was to raise the shoulders and shorten the many layers of tulle. Congratulations on your graduation Amber. Loving the original makeup!
