23.01.2022 NPLW SIGNING, WELCOME BRITTNEY LACEK Ahead of NPLW 2021, we welcome the first of our new signings to the club in Brittney Lacek Lacek has spent the past two seasons with Coomera FC after arriving in Australia following a successful US college career. Named twice in the BWPL select side and voted 2020 BWPL Player of the League, Lacek concluded the year with an opportunity to train and play with the Brisbane Roar against the NPLW State side recently. ... NPLW Head Coach Nick Croyden stated "I am very excited to welcome Britt to the club and have no doubt she is the type of player that will thrive at Logan FC. She works hard and is a great team player who will add further quality to our side for the 2021 season. Upon signing Brittney said "I am stoked for this opportunity to continue my football career playing in the NPLW. I knew the moment I met Nick and walked around the club that Logan FC would be my next home. Hearing all that the club does for the women's program is phenomenal and how they have that blue collar mentality made the decision easy. 19.01.2022 Logan Lightning NPLW- Finals Bound Our NPLW Senior team qualified for their first finals appearance after defeating SWQ Thunder with a strong 7-0 win last night. NPLW Head Coach Nick Croyden shared his thoughts on this achievement by the team.... What a special moment for the team and the club. We set ourselves the challenge to play finals football in 2020. This is the first time in the club’s history that we have reached the finals at an NPL level. We have a strong foundation, and the team is really clicking into gear at the right time so not only have we qualified for the finals we are going to take some serious momentum into the final series. I am very proud of the playing group all the hard work and dedication from the players and staff has put us in a strong position. Their last regular season game is played 7pm on Saturday night against Easts FC at Heath Park. Really proud of the boys performance, it was always going to be a big test bouncing back from last weekend and the group certainly stood up to that challenge. ... 3 nil away from home, very pleased with that result and the desire our boys showed across the 90 minutes.
