25.01.2022 Sunday Roast will be this Sunday. Friday night will be T-Bone and Thai. Don't forget Tradies Hour and Spin the Wheel as you kick back and wind down the week with a few cold ones, maybe a game of pool and a good catch up.

22.01.2022 Friday - wind down with a coldie, Tradies Hour, Spin the Wheel and some amazing Thai dinner from Udon, Or some schnitty or steak. Sunday it Thai and schitty's or Steak with chips and salad. Home made spring rolls and chicken wings will be available. Saturday kitchen closed Bar open. Drop in and enjoy a catch up

22.01.2022 Today marks the 10th anniversary of "The Battle of Derapet" Afghanistan. Corporal Daniel Keighran was awarded the Victoria Cross for Australia for his actions during this battle. In memory of Lance-Corporal Jared "Crash" MacKinney. 'Lest We Forget'

15.01.2022 Where the locals hang out. A fabulous kick start to the weekend on Friday with a couple of birthdays and the meat tray raffles. The kitchen pumped to a good vibe, putting out 70 fine meals. Saturday was relaxed with a few mates catching up for a quiet one or two. I would like to know if any members want to get the footy tips up and running, which we could then get the footy food happening and Saturday Sports day is born. Get in touch and let me know. Must be a member.... Sunday is here and when the work is finished, I am off to have a coldie and catchup until dinner service. Hope to see you there, where mates meet mates and the locals hang out. 12.01.2022 Where the locals hang out turned it on for a Sunday Roast on the spit. A great night had by all. Massive thanks to a big effort from some selfless people helping to advance the club. Thanks to Angie Grace for keeping us entertained. A picture speaks a thousand words, so have a gander and know why we are where we are.

07.01.2022 103 years ago today the men of the Australian Light Horse gave the last of their water to their horses, mounted up and executed the final cavalry charge in hist...ory to take the wells of Beersheba for a drink. Brave men doing what they were asked for the freedom of their fellow Australians at home, I sometimes wonder what they would say about the modern version of freedom they fought for. Today while you celebrate Halloween or whatever it is you’re doing, take a moment to think of what those brave Aussie blokes and horses did on that day. See more

04.01.2022 Another great weekend with some amazing Mega Meats Browns Plains meat trays up for raffle. A new home was found for half a dozen trays over the weekend.

03.01.2022 From Friday Tradies Hour through to Sunday evening Thai, in Hell Fire Pass, we were as busy as a pack of pelicans at a pelagic paradise. Spin the Wheel, Tradies Hour and the Meat Tray raffles helped to wind down a busy work week. Saturday kicked in to top gear with Steak Night, T-Bones and Rumps cooked to order by Sub-'marine boy', Shane. A fantastic job with plenty of compliments and just a continuous line of steaks for over 2 1/2 hours. Well done to Shane. Les Hutton - Ind...igo Dusk, blessed us with his dulcet tones for the evening, to the delight of everyone. A great atmosphere enjoyed by all. Sunday and a big thank you to all who attended the Sub Branch Meeting and the Services Club meeting. Thanks Cowboy for giving Chris a great send off. The memorial service was both moving and captivating and I am sure Chris would have been proud of the service and the many people who attended. I doubt there was many a dry eye in the house. A big thanks to the volunteers that gave up time and effort to make things happen. Garry for the well groomed and presented club, back into it today sorting a few issues. A massive thanks to Sue and Stephanie for helping myself and Udon in the kitchen on Steak Night. Thanks to those grabbing plates and glasses and emptying bins. Every little bit helps.
