25.01.2022 Hi everyone! Our website, deliveries and computers are all back up and running, sorry for any inconvenience last night! Also, our full grill menu is back, including vegetarian option for the Boss and American burgers, and everything is available every night EXCEPT FRIDAY NIGHTS, when sorry we will not be operating our grill section at all, this is just a temporary measure and we will be returning to offering it every night asap!

15.01.2022 To all the boys and girls in Don Valley, Launching Place and Woori Yallock - Santa has asked Hillcrest Fire Brigade to help him out with this year’s Santa run. ...We are sure you will all understand some things might look a little different this year as we carefully adhere to COVID safety measures, but there has perhaps never been a more important time to celebrate the festive season as a community. Our brigade has also made up Merry Christmas from Hillcrest stickers for the community as our way of saying thank you for staying safe during a difficult year and your ongoing support. Some of our changes are: You may have a socially distanced photo with Santa on request which means that Santa will remain on the truck with the children standing in front of Santa on the ground Our lollies this year are required to be pre-packaged, so we have a variety of Smiths Chips and Chupa Chups (both gluten free) or Twisties and other Cheese flavours (contain gluten). If your child is gluten free you MUST advise the elves. Our elves will be wearing masks and gloves to stay COVID safe Please allow the truck to stop before approaching it Please spread out along the routes or stop points (we will stop for you) Santa will be coming on a fire truck to our brigade area as follows: Saturday 19 December 2020 Don Valley - starting at 4.45 pm at Home Hotel car park Santa and his sleigh will be available until 5:00 pm for photos (residents of Barak and Garden Hill Road, Corbetts Road, Bluebell Lane and Orchid Street are asked to meet Santa here) then Santa will proceed to Don Road, then the township area, and proceed up to Grandview. Then Santa will travel along Dalry Road through to Healesville Koo Wee Rup Road. Launching Place - will start at 4.45 pm at Glenview Road onto Gembrook Launching Place Road then into Bellbird and all roads on the Wickhams road side of Highway and will finish on Wickams Road Sunday 20 December 2020 Launching Place/Woori Yallock will start at 4.45 pm at Alpine Blvd and Warburton Highway and all roads on Allsops Road side, then Santa will travel to Phillip Rd, Williams, Nester Road and Shevlins Lane, School house, Elvian and finishing on Lusatia Park Road Woori Yallock starting 4.30 pm at Henry and Lester proceeding to Middleton Estate then finish at the Symes Road Estate. Listen out for the sirens on the night to which will announce Santa. Please understand we do not want to disappoint all the excited boys and girls - but Santa may be delayed if the brigade receives a fire call during this time. If we need to cancel or alter the Santa runs we will update you as we can. 14.01.2022 Thank you all for your interest and questions. In answer to the first question where is the Hake caught? It is caught in the South East Atlantic Ocean off the coast of South Africa, to be specific fishery area 47 see map below! It is wild caught and frozen at sea to lock in freshness.... To the second question why have we changed from Flake to Hake? There are several reasons Our objective is to provide a consistent quality product and service, so you know what you can expect when you place an order with us! We were finding it increasingly difficult to achieve this as sourcing a consistently good supply of Flake was becoming more challenging, so we started looking for alternatives we found Hake Hake is: Consistent in quality, flavour (it has a very mild flavour, the least fishy fish I have eaten), colour (it has a nice clean, white meat) and delicate, flaky texture. Hake is also a healthier option... just because you are ordering takeaway doesn’t mean it can’t be the Healthier choice that’s why we use Sunola High-oleic sunflower oil in our fryers!
