Please join us in honor of International Women’s Day for a virtual panel discussion exploring the work of two organizations, both dedicated to empowering women with their international efforts while bolstering the fight against global poverty. Organizations and speakers will include: Hands In Nepal, an NGO promoting literacy by creating educational opportunities and community development programs in rural Nepal. From Hands in Nepal we will hear former Director, Jan Sprague, and Kavita Thapa Adhikari, who will be joining us from Nepal. Kiva International, an international nonprofit, founded in 2005 in San Francisco, with a mission to expand financial access to help underserved communities thrive. From Kiva, we will hear from Patrick Flynn, and Investment Manager with Kiva.
