You also need to earn at least $60,000 (single) or $90,000 (as a couple)... 22.01.2022 One of my favorite sayings. I’ve been observing the world over the past 15 years since beginning my career in financial services and starting my investment property portfolio as it’s my job to understand people and the way they perceive their lives and future. I’ve probably dealt with and or managed over 1,000 different clients and sat in approx 5,000 client meetings in this time as I’d personally see about 6 clients per week took a while to work that out I find that as ...the years go by it seems easier for people to live a middle class life. If they have a good work ethic, have experience and or some qualifications behind them it seems like it’s not a stretch to live comfortably. With this opportunity people become content and comfortable and that is where the disaster takes place in my opinion. For example: if you can go on holidays 1 month of the year, go out for dinners, breakfasts and or lunches weekly, buy clothes and have any pair of shoes or runners you like, comfortably pay utilities and your mortgage and run one or 2 cars and still have some money left over each month then I call this middle class. The problem I notice is these people don’t feel the need to invest for tomorrow why? Because they are comfortable in the present moment and they think that this lifestyle will last forever. I’m here to tell you that it won’t. Your life can change for so many different reasons: Health, redundancy, injury, loss of job, market shift, economy, pandemic or loss of business , mental health and the list goes on.......... You may feel comfortable but it won’t last forever and just like the above saying says the sure thing boat never gets far from the shore the shore is where you might be now. Not wanting to take a risk or get out of your comfort zone hoping that everything will stay as is. If you are not willing to begin sailing outside of what you know, outside of what your herd would do, outside of your beliefs or conditioning then I’ll apologize now because I am sorry you won’t be financially independant and yes you will need to continue trading 40 hours of your time for money each week. Get the right team around you and build a plan.
