Often we get asked for recommendations for make up safe to use with lash extensions & that doesnt cause skin to become congested! This is my goto! As someone who wears lashes, has sensitive skin, gets break outs from mostly all make up & has super oily skin I find this stuff is the ONLY daily foundation I can wear.... Super oily make up will essentially ruin your lash extension retention meaning you will lose lashes prematurely. We all want our extensions to stay full & fluffy right? For those of you who love full coverage this is buildable or skin o2 also do a full coverage foundation that has been compared to Estée Lauder double wear its that good! As the borders open up we will be taking extra precautions, we must be conscious of not only our clients health but that we have a staff member who is high risk due to autoimmune disease We are going back to sending COVID info & contact forms as of Saturday, we ask that if you have been in contact with someone from overseas or other states in the last 14 days you reschedule your appointment. ... If you have someone in self quarantine in your house please do not attend our salon, if you have returned from other states please do not attend until you are clear of 14 days in our lovely WA. 21.01.2022 Welcome new followers! We have had an influx of new followers in the last few months I thought Id introduce myself & let you know a few things about LOLAB. First off Im Sera Ive been a beauty industry professional since I was 16(now pushing 30). In 2016 I took an eyelash extension course & ventured out on my own to start working for myself! ... Since then LOLAB as absolutely taken off! But what a roller coaster ride it has been... I suffer from a few illnesses that have made being a self made woman very difficult at times. Its been a struggle at times but due to being mad stubborn(Im a Taurus) giving up was not on the cards! COVID 19 shut down killed me but also made my appreciate how much work Ive put into the last 4 years. I used this time to move to Mandurah & get online lash courses up & running! I am an industry educator, international award winning lash artist, magazine published lash work, have many industry accolades, run a group with 5000 lash artists in it, give back to our industry community by also running a mental health support group & home salon social group here in Perth.... This industry is my passion, my clients & work are the reason I get up every morning no matter how sick I feel. This passion has really taken me places I never thought possible! 15.01.2022 gastro & flu are going around! We ask that if you are unwell, you have been in contact with someone who has gastro even if you are not sick to please reschedule your appointment! This week we have had both Sera & Meg off unwell(no we did not make each other sick we hadn’t seen each other in 4 days). It’s awful to play sick tag & have to go home unwell. ... Also just a reminder that Sera has auto immune disease so any illness she catches turns out twice as bad as a healthy person. Usually results in a hospital trip. We have ramped up cleaning in the salon again from this week - wiping doors etc 3 or so times a day to try to control this but we can’t take all the responsibility. Often we get clients come in to then tell us part way through a service that they have been up all night with their sick child or partner... just because you’re not sick doesn’t mean you’re not carrying bugs Just let us know if you need to reschedule due to illness

09.01.2022 OUR POLICY ON OTHER ATTENDEES TO YOUR APPOINTMENT Man I feel like I had enough of a grumble yesterday, this week just seems to be shocking for ignorance & rudeness towards our policies. please do not bring children to your appointment. I get that it’s school holidays now & that’s sometimes it hard but it’s quite clear when school holidays are so please try to book around that or if you forget give us notice at the start of the school holidays so we have time to move ...you. We don’t allow children because it’s actually really unsafe in the salon, to the point that we are not insured if a unsupervised minor get hurts. That’s all on you & we don’t want to live with that. You being on the bed is not supervising your child, our staff are trying to do their job safely & cannot be responsible for supervising your children. Also others in the salon are enjoying their peace & quiet during their services so be considerate of them as they would you. sister, misters, brothers, nan, mum etc etc if they do not have an appointment with us please don’t bring them. Our reception is small & reserved for our clients to wait. Your sister watching TikTok on her phone in our reception is disturbing everyone trying to have lash & brow naps so please do not bring them with you. I also want to point out that any damages, loss of stock or cleaning required if you do bring your children or others will be charged to you. It costs us thousands to put our salon together, we have thousands of dollars of stock in salon & we should not be responsible for repairing or replacing if your visitors who are not permitted are responsible. I think that’s fair don’t you? Lastly but not least & I said this on stories yesterday. Do not be rude to the staff or myself for following policies which you agreed to upon booking, you can find our policies on here, on our booking website & on our main website. It also gets emailed to you! We are operating a business where our clients safety & comfort is super important. My staffs comfort at work is also important so we will not tolerate rudeness or aggressive behaviour because you haven’t taken the time to read the policies you agreed to & signed that you agreed to. We do our very best to be as accommodating as we can, we skip lunch breaks, start early, finish later, work on days off... just for you so please be respectful that’s all I ask. 07.01.2022 Its that time again.... the dreaded SPRING SHED Many of you have been reporting suffering hay fever terribly the last few weeks, this & the spring shed are both going to play with your lash retention! If you have lost a significant amount of lash extensions since you saw me last please pm so I can try to extend your appointment. ... Its super important I have enough time to fully lash you! If you come with 5 lashes on each eye with a 1hour time slot you will have to come back :( I am fully booked back to back so unfortunately I only have the booked time.... I am happy to add on extra 15mins if you have lost a few more then usually but if you come in with less then 30-40% of your extensions still on you will need a new set. If you think you need a new set also please let me know ASAP This only happens twice a year so it shouldnt last long x

I have given all clients for the next 4 weeks an extra 15mins for fills because I know the spring shed has been harsh this year! Hay fever is also very present at the moment. Washing your lashes more often can help to wash away any pollen or build up on the lashes. Also rinsing can help with irritation
