09.01.2022 Dear tennis friends Guess what!!!!! Term 2 tennis will commence next week! Can’t tell you how excited we are! Time is tight for enrolments and numbers are limited more than usual due to restrictions so here’s how it will work.. Our classes will be as follows: TUESDAYS (Darlington)... 4.15pm. Kindy/Pre-schooler class 4.45pm. 6 - 11 year olds 5.45pm. 12-16 year olds THURSDAYS (Darlington) 5.00pm 6- 16 year olds FRIDAYS (Helena Valley) 4.30pm 6-16 year olds FRIDAY SQUAD TRAINING -By invite/request (Darlington) 6.00pm Bookings are now available online, (first in first served), please log in if you have been with us before or register via our website click here: www.loliverstennis.com.au Due to restrictions on class sizes each session will be limited to a maximum of 17 children and 3 coaches. As such, the classes may fill more quickly than usual. The coaches will provide all children with a squirt of hand sanitiser upon entering the courts. All coaches will have completed a Covid-19 infection control course. It is really important to bring a water bottle to the session as the drink fountain will not be in operation. Toilets will be closed so please get your child to use the loo before they leave home! And we will refrain from hand shakes but will instead dab, elbow shake, foot shake etc. If your child is unwell, has a sore throat, or a cough, please do not bring them to tennis coaching this term. Other than these changes, it will be Tennis fun as usual and we can’t wait to get back outside and onto the court! We’ve missed your children and we’ve missed the tennis too! Hope to see you soon! 08.01.2022 To our Tennis Family You may be aware that the Government announced yesterday evening that outside sports and recreations will continue to go ahead. We feel, however, that given the current advice from the Australian Medical Association, that it would be to the benefit of the community for us to cease our coaching with immediate effect. We feel it would be remiss for us to continue and we don’t want to endanger the community. We apologise to all the children who will miss... their tennis lessons - we assure you that we will miss them too! Thank you so much for all your support over the weeks, months and in many cases, years. We hope to be back soon not sure when, but soon! We will keep in touch over the coming months and will let you know as soon as it’s safe to get back on the court. We will place a credit for the remaining lessons of the term onto your account, which you can use for your next term’s fees. A special thank you to all our family members who are working on the front line in healthcare, working in our schools and keeping our essential services going we can’t thank you enough! While we are all tucked away safely at home, we would love it if you could like our Facebook page and post anything onto our page that may amuse our other tennis families! Any ‘tennis from home’ tips, photos of children playing tennis in the driveway or having a hit-up against a wall around the back of the house!
