20.01.2022 Interesting figures on registrations by breed

20.01.2022 We are very pleased that Don Louis of Nangur Simmentals purchased Lone Station Pablo (P) for use in his Simmental Stud Breeding program. We are honoured that Don purchased this bull as he operates one of the oldest Simmental Studs in Australia. (Nangur-founded in early 1980s- Simmental breed only arrived in Australia late 70s) This is the third Lonestation Bull sold into Simmental Studs in Queensland and this sale is definitely one of our proudest. thanks Don. www.lonestation.com.au

10.01.2022 No Dreamworld, No Wet and Wild- No worries!! Grace and friends enjoying farm water infratructure (shortly after running under the irrigator)

10.01.2022 Australia is arguably the worlds best beef producer. Science, hard work, resilience and desire helped us to to get there but do gaps still remain- if they do its an opportunity. Whats seems like the best today might be discounted tomorrow.EBVs support this philosophy but is the level of estimation too low to make an informed decision?https://www.lonestation.com.au/estimated-breeding-values/

10.01.2022 Good bulls don't sell themselves Check out the new collaboration between a highly successful digital marketing agency and knowledge of the cattle stud stock industry, business and marketing in general. www.studstockmarketing.com.au

10.01.2022 Lone Station Simmentals sold 4/4 in the ring for avg $7125 (down from $7688 last year). Very happy with result given drought. Thanks again to all buyers & bidde...rs, Rob & Viv Laycock (Clay Gully)- for having us in the sale and all vendors for putting together a great draft of bulls. Photo below of Lone Station Mojo who went for $10,000. See more

07.01.2022 What a difference rain makes!! Two dams have water in them that have been dry for four years. Hope others are as fortunate as we have just been. Fixing fencing over water courses is much better than from bush fire!

05.01.2022 What a great facility for selling/buying livestock

04.01.2022 Bushfires and Bulls at Lone Station Simmentals- Video of Water Bombing to follow. All ok here for now- many others experienced alot worse.

03.01.2022 Keep your eye out for Lone Station Patton (P) available August 2020, full brother to the bull featured below- Lone Station Madagascar (P). Madagascar had impressive figures of 11/10, fat, 141 EMA, 4.3 IMF and 43 Scrotal at 23 months (Milk Tooth). Backed with an outstanding temperament. He sold well for $8,500 and would have likely done much better if shorter in length of testes. You will see the height in this bull at the end of the video.

01.01.2022 Probably four major issues facing the Livestock Industry as related to Coronavirus- this article references one of them (meat processing- supply side) the others are demand side (Domestic demand due to lack of disposable income and overseas demand for the same and other reasons) and lastly rising input costs as related to scarcity also prevalent. Interested in anyone elses comments (outside of things like field days, bulls sales etc)
