22.01.2022 So yesterday was a killer! With shearers still unavailable and to keep ahead of the seeds Rod and I decided to shear the young ram lambs! Fleeces looked good and weighed well! ... Big job ticked off - phew!

21.01.2022 Shearers are as rare as hens teeth at the moment! The Sires needed to be shorn in preparation for a November joining! So this weekend we dusted of the blades and got to work!! A great chance for some quality family time!

21.01.2022 Duncan and Forbes arrived home from school and jumped right into helping Dad drag Rams out onto the shearing board! A little unorthodox in their technique but the rams didn't seem to mind! Good effort considering 4 weeks ago the Rams averaged 48kg and Duncan and Forbes only weigh 30 odd kgs!

07.01.2022 Our little pollinators have been busy reproducing and have out grown their digs! Must be all the glorious clover that's been flowering Have spent the last week assembling and painting their new hive and frames! Last night the boys and I did a hive inspection and attempted a split! Hope things progress well over the next few weeks!
