23.01.2022 PAWNBROKER PRODUCT OF THE WEEK! ROLEX - DATEJUST OYSTER PERPETUAL, 18K GOLD, 26MM, AUTUMN 1991. First manufactured in 1945, to mark the 40th Anniversary of Rolex timepieces, the Rolex Datejust remains one of the most popular watches, and features a place in the most exclusive collections.... Referred to by Rolex as todays "classic watch of reference", the Datejust model has been manufactured for longer than any other Rolex timepiece. Originally manufactured in only 18K Yellow Gold, the 1945 Datejust featured an Oyster case - the only case to be fully waterproof. The minimalist design of the original datejust was complemented by a micro-fluted bezel, and a jubilee bracelet band, also in 18K yellow gold. The Rolex Datejust is also the first automatic timepiece to feature a date window on the dial. This Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust was manufactured in Autumn 1991, from solid 18K Yellow Gold. The fluted bezel is complemented by a champagne-coloured diamond dial. The automatic movement is set in a 26mm waterproof Oyster case, and weighs in at 75.8 grams.
