24.01.2022 we recently had a 6 wheel lazy axle Izusu D-Max in at the workshop getting our Longranger fuel tank, this thing was a beast !! conversion done by Specialised Vehicles Pty Ltd

23.01.2022 this lucky customers caravan is being fitted out with the redfoot levelling system, these levelling jacks will insure a quick and easy setup with the use of a remote control. we fit out both caravans and motorhomes with this redfoot levelling system right here in the Longranger factory.

At The Long Ranger, we have been working around the clock for some time now and can finally share the details of our 80L Replacement tank!... 19.01.2022 Another happy customer! this Sunliner switch has been fitted out with a #longrangerfueltanks custom made additional 85L stainless steel water tank. this was designed to fit in around existing tanks and above the spare wheel to make the most of the space available.

16.01.2022 Another custom made tank from The Long Ranger factory. The owner was heading out to the Madigan line, In his V6 Petrol JK with 35 tyres and is a little on the thirsty side so more fuel was needed to ensure a safe trip home. This custom 80lt Auxiliary tank on a JK Wrangler is designed with upswept corners and a heavy duty base to still handle a weekend of hard core offroading. Along with the OEM 85lt and our standard 68lt Auxiliary tank he now has a massive 233lt total fuel capacity for those big outback trips we all dream of doing.

The place looks a bit dodgy, the fuel cost $2.10 per litre, we were even hit once with a whole town being out of power with no idea on when it would be back on! A Long Ranger Fuel Tank, neatly hidden away, gives you options! You could easily make it to the next main town, where you can trust the fuel and its at $1.80! It may not be the first accessory on your list, but it's one you wont regret.

11.01.2022 Another custom built A frame heading out of the workshop This little Fiat 500C ready to tow behind a Fiat Ducato motor home. This one is fitted with a Roadmaster Falcon All terrain A frame and Invisi braking unit that provides vacuum to the master cylinder to ensure the brakes work the way they are designed without the engine running. Considering an A frame setup yourself? Did you know you can’t flat tow a normal automatic vehicle, so if your panning on living the dream and n...ot a nightmare make sure you do your research on the best car to tow? Most manuals are not an issue but always check with the vehicle manufacture just in case they got some fancy gearbox, the old Jimny for example is a manual but you shouldn’t flat tow one of these! If your manual gear box days are over and you need to flat tow an auto most vehicles with a transfer case are your only option. That’s why the Suzuki grand vitara is a popular choice as it is a real 4wd and still has a transfer case which can be put into neutral for flat towing. Another thing to check is the towing capacity of the motor home and can a towbar be fitted, some fiats for example may only have a 1500kg towing capacity and some motor home manufactures have built their motor homes in such a way that fitting a towbar is a logistical nightmare, so to avoid a major disappointment figure out what you want to do with your new motor home and buy the right one for the job.
