16.01.2022 A bit of excitement for the team at the Longreach Motor Inn and Harry's Restaurant this morning. After a fire broke out onsite, our staff all worked together to keep the fire under control as we awaited the Fire Brigade. A massive thank you to Jerome Marks (Jed) from BF Savage & Co Butchery for popping in with an invoice at precisely the right time and helping us out. No doubt about it, the heat has arrived and with it the dangers of spontaneous combustion. No one injured and minor damage to the building - Thank you so much to the Emergency services for your response time in getting to us and preventing any major damage.
