23.01.2022 Our preparation for AJ2022 is going well, with the Contingent Budget recently approved. We're really pleased to advise that the youth member fee for AJ2022 is ...the same as AJ2019, $2475 including on-time registration discount. The leader fee, $1100, has been slightly reduced to encourage adults to attend to make the event successful. The full fee structure is now up on the website. http://aj.scoutsqld.com.au/ It's been difficult for most of us to get fundraising done over the past few months, but hopefully you have some plans underway to help fund your Jamboree attendance. Heard rumours that the event has been cancelled? We can assure you that this is not the case. The Jamboree organising committee and your Queensland Contingent team are working hard to prepare a fantastic event. Naturally the pandemic does bring some additional risks to the event and we are all watching this closely. We will keep you informed of any impacts. Applications are expected to open in November.

04.01.2022 Scouts out doing what they love doing CAMPING. It was a big day today - Ilfracombe machinery walk, drive through the countryside, swimming at the river and at the pool and of course cooking food. Now for spotlight,, campfire and marshmallows.
