20.01.2022 Attention all fishers! The Total Allowable Commercial Catch for black jewfish on the East Coast has been reached and black jewfish are now a no-take species fo...r all fishers. This means fishing for this species is now closed to commercial and recreational fishing until 1 January 2021. Penalties apply. The fishery remains open in the Gulf of Carpentaria where recreational fishers are reminded that black jewfish has a possession limit is 1 per person and maximum boat limit of 2 per vessel.
