25.01.2022 The largest surf Sydney’s experienced over the past week has left plenty of debris on the Northern Beaches. Long Reef Golf Club course staff have spent the morning cleaning up the surrounds of Fisherman’s Beach.

Mike is a passionate supporter of Cancer Council and decided to take on... the ultimate challenge as a way of giving back. "The whole club knew we were doing it, and the local news did an article too! It was great fun, very windy but fun!". The Longy Legends have raised an amazing $7,243 - well done guys! High five!

07.01.2022 After winning gold in the Ambrose section of the Queensland Masters golf tournament in Cairns, 2019, Queenslander Shem Aitken was awarded the John Mullins Memor...ial Grant. This meant a visit to Sargood On Collaroy beach and his first trip to the northern beaches. It also meant, of course, a round at Long Reef GC with Empower Golf NSWs Sam Newbrun. NSW Health has issued advice for the Northern Beaches residents to stay at home, so the Board has decided it would be irresponsible to encourage Members and guests to attend the Club and Golf Course over the weekend. The status of the Clubhouse and Golf Course for Monday 21st December and thereafter will be reassessed on Sunday 20thDecember after further advice is received from NSW Health. 02.01.2022 Long Reef Golf Club has made the decision to close the Clubhouse and Golf Course on Friday 18th December following advice from NSW Health regarding the recent outbreak of Coronavirus on the Northern Beaches. We have not been asked to close and have not been named as a venue of close contact but belief it is in the best interest of our Members, guests and staff to cease trading and comply with the advice from NSW Health. More information will follow on Friday 18th December regarding the status of the Clubhouse and Golf Course for the weekend.
