18.01.2022 To our dear patients , We are sorry to inform you that due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we are only taking telehealth consuls from now on. This has been a very difficult decision to make. We are concerned about our vulnerable staff, their families and most importantly our vulnerable patients. This is also an effort to keep people at home as much as possible due to escalating number of cases in Victoria. We are however here at your service via telehealth consults. 15.01.2022 There is a rise in bowel cancer in our Australian population . Please use the bowel cancer screening kits from the government - this is usually sent to people aged 50-74 years of age . However if you have a strong family history of bowel cancer - you need to come in and see your GP and discuss this as usual screening guidelines might not apply to you. Australia has the highest rates of bowel cancer ! Please make yourself and your loved ones aware of this potentially deadly condition if not picked up early .

15.01.2022 Dear Patients , Our numbers in Victoria are unfortunately on the rise again. This also means regional Australians are now at higher risk of contracting this virus. We have opened telehealth appointments to our patients who are eligible for this reason . Please use the telehealth option to speak to one of our doctors if you have any respiratory symptoms . You will be triaged and advised accordingly what to do. These symptoms include a cough/ runny nose/ sore throat/ fever/ los...s of sense of taste or smell/ general unwellness such as body aches . If you have seen us in the past 12 months then you are eligible for a free ( bulk billed) telehealth appointment booking. Please do not walk in if you are unwell with these symptoms . A lot of our doctors look after elderly patients at nursing homes and this could be life threatening to our vulnerable patients . If you help us then we can continue to serve you . 07.01.2022 We have had some trouble with our phone lines. We are trying to fix this ASAP but you can still call this new number 0410 102 818 to book an appointment. Online booking is also still available. We are now opened as usual with face to face bookings however if you have cold like symptoms book a telehealth appointment first with your preferred doctor prior to coming in for further advise. All telehealth appointments are bulk billed. Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.

03.01.2022 To our dear patients, in light of the recent coronavirus pandemic, your temperature might be monitored on arrival to the clinic. If you suspect that you have a fever , please call to advise us prior to coming to the clinic. Any patient who has travelled overseas who has contact with anyone with coronavirus and is unwell need to head to a dedicated screening clinic for coronavirus. You may be symptom free up to 14 days and still carry the virus in the initial stages of the in...fection. Please call the coronavirus hotline -1800 675 398 for further guidance. Many of our patients are elderly and very young patients . These groups are the most vulnerable and it is our duty of care to protect both patients and staff members. Our clinic is not equipped with personal protective equipment as it is currently unavailable due to high demand from our suppliers and unfortunately the department of health has not been able to meet our increasing demand for this.
