24.01.2022 Monday Night 7:30pm Longwarry Progress will be having the AGM followed by the public meeting. All are welcome to attend and put forward ideas on how to solve problems that the town faces in the coming years.

24.01.2022 This meeting is being held on Tuesday 17 March at 11am to 1pm at the Longwarry Public Hall. The Inspector-General for Emergency Management is conducting the independent Inquiry into the 201920 Victorian Fire Season. The Inspector-General is looking into the way Victoria and its communities: prepared for bushfires responded to fires in large parts of Victoria's North East, East Gippsland, and Alpine regions... conducted relief and recovery activities. On 17 March, residents of Longwarry and surrounding areas are invited to meet the Inspector-General to discuss their views and experiences with bushfire preparedness and response to the recent fires. 22.01.2022 Have you seen the Urban Design Framework for Longwarry? Do you agree with bitumen car park where the local market is? Do you want trees down the centre of Kennedy Street and Princess Ave? Do you agree with improved pedestrian safety?... Do you agree with relocating the CFA building in favour of a skate park? Do you want the playground at Bennet Street replaced with a Water Sensitive Urban Design (WSUD) initiative? These are some of the recommendations for the Urban Design Framework for Longwarry. Councillors have been invited to hear the communities views. ... Community Hub Strategy plan for Longwarry. We would appreciate your input on these issues and if you have other issues that you feel is important to improving the town.
