17.01.2022 Hello! We are really excited to begin our search from around Australia for our lead role in an upcoming feature film production (shooting 2021 fingers crossed). Our aim is to reach as many people as possible within the Aboriginal community who may be perfect for the role of RUBY, a Trans Woman who is in her late teens to early twenties. Casting the lead role of RUBY is one of the most important decisions we will make in realising our vision for our project. ... Aboriginal filmmakers Writer/Director Adrian Russell Wills and Producer Gillian Moody (Kalori Productions) will produce the film with our Producing collaborators David Jowsey & Greer Simpkin (Bunya Productions). The story is about resilience and self worth in a world where being a Trans Woman comes with many obstacles. We are looking for someone who embodies humanity, compassion and a little bit of sass!
