22.01.2022 There's an online art exhibition going on called 'Confined 11' which features artworks by Indigenous artists currently in or recently released from prisons in Victoria, Australia. Indigenous men are 15 times more likely to go to prison than non-Indigenous men and Indigenous women are 21 times more likely to go to prison than non-Indigenous women. This is one program being run to stop the cycle.... https://thetorch.org.au/exhibitions/46sdaqyfx9ezackw/

19.01.2022 For those of you that have read my blog, this will not be an issue for you, hopefully..... But this is too funny not to share. I love the idea of family press conferences https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1511262915721134&id=354115391435898

13.01.2022 Nothing quite like getting back to it being featured in an article in The Age. Small article on sustainable homes and lifestyle. Got any questions about how to decorate sustainably or change your home systems to adapt to the changes you're making to become more sustainable, then get in touch....

12.01.2022 Latest install. Retro Japanese tiled benchtop for built-in bbq area. What a find these tiles were. Salvaged from the back of a retired tilers garage. Perfectly new at just over 40 years old. If only I felt the same!

10.01.2022 Closed. Three weeks in and my blog on 'coping at home' has generated many interesting conversations about kitchens. The hub of the home is taking a battering. Sometimes you need to close them to get on top of all the activity or stop the kids raiding the fridge 24/7. #covid19 #isolation #copingwithcovid19 #kitchenclosed #closed #homesystems #functionoverform #hubofthehome #kitchendesign #handmade #handsewn #homemadebanner #fridge24/7 #24/7 #interiordecorating #hungrykids

07.01.2022 Everyone who has worked with, or followed, Loop Interiors will know how much emphasis we put on sustainable design. It's who we are to the core. So when we're not designing, we're very much involved in our local community. Right now that means getting this petition to the local Council to demand stronger climate action. If you live in Moonee Valley, or in the surrounding area, then please sign. We can't wait to 2040, we need to start the change now!... https://www.change.org/p/stronger-climate-action-in-moonee-

05.01.2022 Just finished installing a kitchen garden at Marlins Warehouse, Essendon. I love working with other interesting businesses, breaking the mold and doing business differently. Marlins Warehouse collects boxes from retail businesses and helps people who are moving to keep reusing those boxes. Reusing over recycling is more energy efficient. They also produce their own honey from their backyard hive and sell it through the cafe. Loop Interiors is very much looking forward to develop a 'moving' service with Marlins Warehouse. #bethechange
