14.01.2022 Following on from our last post, here’s the photos from our first rescue in the week Thank you to all that’s involved.

13.01.2022 What a week! 2 koala rescues in a week on Stradbroke Island! A mother koala and her baby was hit by a car, unfortunately the baby had to be put down due to severe injuries , the mother koala survived and escaped up a tree with internal injuries. Lop Chop Chip came to rescue her and is now in the hands of the local vets (thanks Jade Patterson!). The 2nd koala (as seen in images) was reported to us by the local animal conservation & rescue organisation Wildlife Rescue Min...jerribah, they suspected the koala had a broken back leg and appeared to be stuck in the trees. This poor little bugger was a feisty one but we’re glad we were able to get him down and get him to the care he needs. Lop Chop Chip are big supporters of animal conservation and volunteer all of our rescue work for free.
