23.01.2022 Last night, 2400 AIPPI participants concluded the IP London Congress at the 1873 built Alexandra Palace, with a Gala dinner, awards and entertainment. Beside a good conference Oana and Kelvin Lord celebrated also Lord and Company 40 years of business excellence.

23.01.2022 Dr. Zhi Ling Zeng, partner at Lord and Company, has been invited to give an Intellectual Property, IP, 101 Talk to the business students at Notre Dame University, Fremantle, Western Australia on Monday, 26 August. The talks aim is to inspire the students about IP protection in their future business ventures.

22.01.2022 Oana Oxana and Kelvin Lord were at the Opening Ceremony, of AIPPI 2019, Sunday 15/09 at Central Hall Westminster, London. Jo Johnson, former Culture Minister and brother of PM John Johnson, the keynote speaker, presented an eye opener speech. The Welcome Ceremony fallowed with much fellowship.

19.01.2022 As the world wakes up this morning to the news of 1000 dead and 45,000 Coronavirus cases, the Health World Organisation is telling us that this is a new, more dangerous visual and it names it Corona 19. It also encourages all the nations to prepare and prevent this deadly virus to spread as the vaccine might be ready in 18 months. The Lord and Company team did a search and found out the following: After the 2002 SARS devastating virus which started in Guangdong Province, Ch...ina and spread in Vietnam, Canada and Hong Kong, at the request of US Government, a group of scientists from Department of Health and Human Resources, Centre of Diseases Control and Prevention, Washington, DC, started researching and by 2004, they isolated a new Coronavirus , which they called SARS-CoV and patented: US Patent No: 7,220,852 B1, Date of Patent: May 22 2007. The question is why in 2020 the world is so surprised and unprepared for this Coronavirus? ....when we had a patent and much information since 2007. Lets hope the nations will work together now to find the cure ASAP.

Kelvin Lord reminisced his 1979 beginning, while , Oana Oxana Lordco Business Development Manager and past President RACI WA talked about Kelvins RACI achievements: treasurer for 8 years, sponsor of the newsletter since 1999, Wild Ewers recipient to name just few. Partner Dr. Zhi Ling Zeng delighted us with an amazing talk, delving in the intriguing ways of patenting! Thank you Zhi Ling The Aussie wicked humour was present too when somebody ask: So, Kelvin you were about 10 when you founded Lordco?! All in all a good night with delicious pizza too.

Joyce I-Wen Ho, President APAA, Taiwan Group, addressed 1800 participants pointing out the importance of democracy in a country in order to encourage the innovation! Taiwan is the no 4 country in the world in filing patents after Germany, USA and Switzerland. Taiwan Native children singing and dancing followed.
