15.01.2022 Our local Fishing Club is hosting this at the jetty on Sunday, 12 noon until 3pm. Hope everyone comes along. We have giveaways as well as a BBQ happening for all. Bring your fishing gear and join us or just come along for a chat. High tide is at 1pm so hopefully the garfish will be on the bite.

10.01.2022 On Sunday the Lord Howe Island Game Fishing Club had a fun raiser BBQ as a part of the Phasmid Phunday, which was held at the Public Hall. It was great afternoon! The club raised over $900 on the day. Viv's Thai Fish Curry was the hit thou....as well as the cold beer, bubbles and wine

09.01.2022 Fishing is not always great in July but to disprove this we just had a great July day recently with John and his mate.

01.01.2022 Don't we all have a day like this. Geoff Naylor had a day like this recently. The fish decided to bit for us and he was fighting a fish much larger than he normally encounters in his trout guiding. His rod broke and I am sure he feels just like Ernest Hemingway. Important to remember that sometimes it's the angler not the rod.
